MNF Crew (1 Viewer)

I am really coming to hate this new crew on MNF. Every week the QB is the best to ever play. The RB is the best they have ever seen. It is getting really old. Gruden just said that Eli is passing as well on third down as his brother. Eli and his brother play the same position. That is about the end of the similarities. Eli is a decent QB, nothing more. And they are raving about how good the Giants D is. The Giants D has stunk it up all season. They are playing good tonight, but they are far from a great D. It is really annoying.

I heard Captain Compliment say that about Eli. He also said "up there" when referring to Indianapolis. I guess Geography wasn't Captain Compliment's best class.

what is Eli's 3rd down numbers?...maybe he is right
Eli was something like 7 for 7 on third down when he said that.Geesh, some people just like to kind things to complain about.Do we have to bring back Kornheiser and Miller to remind you what "suck" is?

MNF crew is amongst the best, sure they hand out a few too many compliments but I'll take the golfer, a former great analyst, and a current great analysts any day. I learn things when Gruden talks, maybe not every week but I do learn between Gruden and Jaws.

Agree. Every week we gets posts on who hates the Thursday night crew and the MNF crew.

I love Gruden in there. Jaws isn't my favorite but I don't hate him by any means. I would rather have this crew more than any other this decade, that's for sure.

Now the Thursday night crew, not so much.

John Madden just talked about the game. He and Al Michaels were are really good pair. I have been annoyed by these guys all year. They are so over the top with everything. Every player is the most incredible player they have every seen. Just talk about the game. Someone said you learn something. This is like panning for gold. You have to dig through a lot of junk to find anything worth keeping.

:lmao: You have got to be kidding.

It's definitely annoying that almost every player is described as "special". I like Gruden but he has to tone this down. Everything turns into a human interest story on ESPN which is why I rarely watch it.

What they need to do is just scrap all the announcers entirely and get the computer announcer from the "Joe Montana: Sports Talk Football" chipapachichipachichipapachichipapa

"It's begg-ining to ra-- eh- rain."

The guy coached in the NFL since he was in his early 20s, not many can say that. he coached a great offense in Philly, worked with McNabb briefly there I believe, San Fran as well, Green Bay, tell me I'm wrong but he was the QB coach for a lot of great QBs like Steve Young, Brett Favre, McNabb, then made great journeymen out of Rich Gannon and Brad Johnson...the guy has been part of the most prolific West Coast Offenses which have revolutionized the modern game of football...I can appreciate your POV and I'm being generous in that but man do you come off sometimes with an air of arrogance that I can only hope to achieve one day. But to each their own.

John Madden was prone to slobbering all over the gonads of the biggest star in the game. He might not have given every player the label "special", but he was far more annoying in one game than I've heard Gruden be all year.

Gruden is Awesome!

Jaws is out next year..very jealous (throws digs at Gruden every week) of how smooth Gruden is and well he breaks down the game and statistics.

Gruden is Money.
