Honestly, I was starting to think about replacing Sanders in my championship game before this. Sanders has 13, 11 and 9 points in PPR the last 3 weeks. I am thinking about Decker (garbage points, 4, 15, 17 - 15 and 17 with Geno) and Moncrief (If TY is out) over Sanders. Of course, they play at 3 different times, making it really easy to decide. :(

Yeah, I'm leaving Decker on the bench. In PPR, I do think he could pile up receptions just because there is no one else and I expect NE to go up big. I just can't do it knowing he could get locked down and both teams could end up running a lot and limiting total plays.

Update: Emmanuel Sanders (illness) made the trip to Cincinnati for Monday's game.

Sanders is expected to play Monday, and this is obviously the first step in that process. If you are planning to play Sanders, you should probably pick up Wes Welker or Mohamed Sanu just in case Sanders is a late scratch.

Good catch, I had almost taken for granted I'd be rolling with Sanders, sink or swim, and totally forgot I should hedge my bets. Just went ahead and dropped Gio for Sanu. Still going to be an uphill battle in my matchup, but thanks!

I put in Stills over Sanders and he got 12.8. Considering how Sanders he has been doing, I think it was a decent substitute. Watch him score in the 30's now that half his owners benched him.

I went Moncrief and got squat, but I'm way behind anyway. If he explodes, I'll have made a mistake but I was rolling the dice with Hilton out thinking one long reception equals what Sanders had been doing. Anything else would be gravy, but the Colts laid down and took it like a whore.

Emmanuel Sanders (questionable/ illness) "feels a lot better" and expects to play Monday.

He was dealing with the flu. How bad could it be? Sanders should be just fine for Monday Night Football and is probably a must-start for this game.

Well, that move cost me the championship. Just another one of those head scratching moves that I think makes sense at the time because I am in more of a panic mode knowing that Sanders had been mediocre the last 3 weeks and Hilton was out and I had no other options in case Sanders was inactive. Ugh and oh well, live and learn.
