Atlanta needs to start airing it out on offense. I know the pass rush is forcing Ryan to get rid of the ball quickly, but Ryan is checking down abnormally fast tonight. Until he looks downfield the Jets are gonna continue to use press coverage and shut down this O quickly.

disagree. Atlanta was rushing to get he next play off and Ryan had to make his decision quickly. Was a big enough play to be worth the risk, even if ultimately it wasn't close

Watching one replay was enough to see it was a horrible challenge. First quarter, it's not worth it to waste a TO and a potential 3rd challenge on a clearly good play. It might be ok for Ryan to throw the flag if he had no support, but anyone telling him to throw it screwed up, and if he didn't have anyone for support, then that's a screwup on their part too. Horrible challenge.

Konz is lousy - 2nd round pick, first Center taken last year. Looks small, no power, and not particularly quick.

Pretty much. I'll certainly agree they are wasted plays but you can't exactly just say, 'Ready, set, go kill Ryan!' on every offensive play. Cause at some point it would happen.
