Vegas odds makers have the Saints by 10. Usually they are pretty close but I do not discount the fact that you can pretty much throw all stats and records out the window when these two teams meet. This will be a very important game to both teams in the division race and then add the big stage of MNF and it becomes even more electric.

I personally think the key matchup for the Falcons is to exploit Bushrod who has been doing an O.K. job filling in for Brown at left tackle. Miami pressured Brees for pretty much all the first half which resulted in 3 picks and 4 sacks. The Saints will likely need to put a tight end or RB over there to double Abraham so he doesnt repeat the success that Jason Taylor had last week. If the Saints can manage Abraham I think they will try to exploit the weak Atlanta secondary while forcing themselves to remain balanced by sprinkling in a number of running plays to keep the Atlanta defense honest.

When the Falcons are on offense I look for them to try to establish the run and control the tempo and try to keep Brees off the field as much as possible. This will not be an easy task against this years Saints defense and I look for the Falcons hopes on winning this game to ultimately fall on Matt Ryan and the Wr's and Gonzalas. If the Saints can force the Falcons to be a passing team like Dallas did last week, I look for Darren Sharper to be a huge factor and get at least one interception. Once again I think the key to this game will be the play of the Saints defense and how they handle the Atlanta attack.

I think the players to start for Atlanta will be Tony Gonzalas, and Roddy White and Matt Ryan. I dont look for huge running numbers from Turner but he may kick in a TD at some point in the game.

For the Saints you have to start Brees and Colston and Shockey. I also think Henderson will be big tonight and Lance Moore may show up as well. I think that the Saints backs are a decent option and at least one of them should get a TD. The rest will be hard to gauge as it is a RBBC situation. Since this is Monday night you have either played someone else of you have committed yourselves to a Saints or Falcons player. So who are you going with tonight and what do you need from them to win this week in FF? Also who wins the actual game and what will the final score be?

For starters: I need Roddy White to score less than 10 points to win my game this week. I pick the Saints to win tonight and the score will be 41- 30

I need P Thomas to score and have 150 yds rushing. Or just a simple long TD. Down by 7 going in to tonight. Saints win 42 to 17.

I've got Bell and Brees starting tonight but I've already won my week's matchup. It's a relief as I hate having to wait till a tuesday morning to find out how I've done.

Saints by 12.

I'm very interested in watching the secondary taking on arguably the best QB they've faced all year in Matt Ryan. Yes, they faced Eli but we're seeing now that maybe that foot injury is affecting him. I'd like to see if Porter can stick with White and if Sharper can trick Ryan into a mistake. The Saints have to keep up this solid secondary play against the elite quarterbacks to win a championship and this is the first major test.

On offense, I'd like to see the Saints come out hot with a quick strike and then settle into a strong running game to tire out Atlanta's D-line and ride the homefield advantage to victory.

As for fantasy, I need about 85 from Colston, Shockey, and Carney. Yeah.

up by 26. he has brees (ouch), colston (ouch, gonzo (ouch) and Carney.

II have Roddy W.

Not liking my chances here, but stranger things have happened.
