I was very impressed with this kid after watching the game yesterday--I just read that he and Anderson had great chemistry over the summer working with the second team I know the Browns offense is awful, but can he build on yesterday's performance and become a decent #3 WR the rest of the way? By the way, they play the Bills next week and their secondary has been decimated by injuries.

I'd wait until he puts together two decent games in a row. I agree Buffalo isn't a good team, but neither is Cleveland. Plus the game is at Buffalo.Anderson has more of a gun than Quinn, but he's also a lot streakier. Some weeks he's on fire, others he can't hit the broadside of a barn.

In most leagues, I'm guessing you'll have to scoop him up this week if you want to take a chance on him because somebody in every league is probably very weak at WR and will take a chance on him this week rather then waiting a week to see if he's legitimate.

Re-draft leagues. He might be worthy #3 but the verdict is out on this season.

Dynasty leagues....grab him now if he's still available. An rookie WR in only his 2nd week of action whom snags that number of catches and that amount of yardage is worth grabbing and burying on any roster.

I drafted him in our dynasty rookie draft in a late round, but cut him after week 1 for roster space because the Browns weren't suiting him up (assuming he's safe as a free agent if he wasn't even an active player), but was watching him very closely to see how things developed with him in Cleveland. I snagged him back off waiver wire at halftime yesterday before anyone else could see his potential.

MoMass was very reliable at UGA and a clutch playmaker.

And DA needs a reliable WR - when does *everyone* (not just some people living in reality) admit that Edwards, whatever he got right in `07, isn't getting it right anymore.

There's also a trust factor with BE - how many times does a QB have to see his primary WR play dropsy before he looks elsewhere?

In 2007 DA caught lightning in a bottle with a previously underperforming high pick WR. He's gunning to stay the QB and needs to do something, and I am wondering if he is really just going to keep laying it on the line for BE.

All of 2008 was no different with BE.

This isn't much but if I can I'm dropping Knox to get Mo. I think people may be overlooking this performance because it's (a) the Browns, and (b) not BE, so they'll write it off as a fluke. Well, what if they're wrong?

Not sure I'd drop Knox for him, he looks pretty darn good himself.

I held on to Knox specifically for the Lions game. But he had very little - and Bennett and Olson and Hester too.The Bears passing game seems too unpredictable. This is for kind of a revolving roster spot for me until someone strikes gold. Yes, the Browns are lousey and maybe unpredictable too but what the heck maybe DA goes on one of his streaks.

I'd get some advice from that family friend of yours close to the Welker family.

Another thread just posted that Braylon Edwards was just accused of assaulting a nightclub promoter at 2:30am this morning. Not being one to wish ill on a player, any game time missed by Edwards would only mean more looks for MM. Browns may be playing most games from behind this season, so a go-to receiver for Derek Anderson is not something to brush under the carpet. Pick him up if you can stash him.
