Morlon Greenwood (1 Viewer)

Im hearing all this talk about him being a huge sleeper this week with Cincy in town. Any reasons why? Looking into the game im seeing no idications other than throw, throw, throw for Carson Palmer- and then a huge chunk of garbage time for Houston IDP'ers to rack up the points. Is this why hes being touted so high?I myself actually was considering dropping him for Brad Kassell (Donnie Edwards, Kawika Mitchell and Odell Thurman rounding out my starting 3). Who makes a better LB4- Greenwood or Kassell?

Wong is the better LB in Houston. Greenwood will see his fair share of decent games, but Kassell is the better option for your #4 LB.

Understood on that front- but in regards to the previous question- Is morlon greenwood worth a start this week in particular over such LB's as Odell Thurman or Kawika Mitchell?PS: Kassell was swooped on last night- despite the bye week. Are Randall Godfey, LeMar Marshall, Dhani Jones or James Darling worth a spot as a LB4?

I thought I answered it, but...Greenwood is NEVER a good start over Thurman. Of those three, here's the rank:

Thurman

Mitchell

Greenwood

If you have Thurman, start him every week, to include THIS week. If you must pick between Greenwood or Mitchell, I'd pick Mitchell. Mitchell did not have a good game last week against Denver, but nobody on the Chiefs defense put up good numbers. Mitchell in the MLB in a 4/3 and stays on the field every down. As far as Greenwood is concerned, I'm not positive, but I don't think he plays on 3rd down.

Did I mention that you should play Thurman!

... And yes, LeMar Marshall is a very good #4 LB.

Hold your horses, Louise. Lemar Marshall seems to be a solid player, but let's give the guy more than three games before we consider him a good #4 LB. I'm a Lemar Marshall owner and I'm still not convinced.

We are talking #4 LB here. If you don't think he's a good #4 LB, you are crazy. :football:

Maybe he is in a 4 man league...

Well, in that case, he may be right :lmao:

Not that it changes much, but KC is utilizing the 3-4 a lot more now, with Sims out, and it just might remain that way. Kawika is still a good starter.I expect Greenwood to pick it up, this is a new scheme for him, and it takes time. Now, I don't expect him to be a stud, but if he's your #5, someone is missing good LBs or you're in a small league. He is currently producing around #45 to 50 stats, and I expect him to do better.

For your question, Lemar is the best option as your #4.

BTW - what are you talking about "despite the bye week"? Last I checked, the Titans had a week 10 bye.

Ah your right- kassell doesnt have a bye week this week. my mistake. And to those who mentioned my league- its actually a 16 teamer. The thing is that its only a 1DL/1LB/1DB required league with 2 flex spots. I choose to put all my cards in the LB spot while others took their chances by drafting two good DL's or playing the weeks with DB's. And evidently someone had little confidence in Marshall and dropped him- and as per what you guys say ill gladly swoop on him.PS: Just to clarify, he isnt a better option than Kawika this week correct?
