moss vs holt (1 Viewer)

who has the better shot at turning things around this year. thinking about targeting one in some trades.

Unfortunately I own both in my league, a no-trade league. My options are riding them out or dropping them.

My expectations for Randy Moss are pretty bleak. A WR without a QB is not good, and I don't expect Moss to finish any higher than the 20 - 30 WR range. If the Patriots can get better QB play then Moss can improve on that, but I really am not expecting that. We start 3 WR's so he's still worth plugging in as a #3, but that's not what I was expecting with a 2nd round pick.

Holt on the other hand has much better potential. Don't forget the offense has played 2 tough D's so I expect them to improve. The Bulger benching IMO is a temporary 1 or 2 game move so a coach who's about to get fired can say "I'm trying everything I can". They still have one of the best dual threat RB's in the league and hopefully a #2 WR will step up to take the doubles off Holt. Worse case scenario even if Green were to start QB all year I think Holt winds up 15 - 25. However I expect Bulger back within a week or two of the bye, and then I project Holt in the 8 - 15 range with potential for more.

Good post. For me it comes down to the qb situation. This may change but right now I think even Green has a better potential than Cassel to get the ball to his WRs.No question the Rams are a mess but Holt at least has a guy willing to throw downfield.
