Agreed. I mean NE did something very similar by taking Clark out of the game last weekend so Manning did not have that easy underneath move the chains stuff over and over again. Now Manning made the adjustment and started working other WR's and running more, but it was effective for the first part of the game for sure. I would have at least like to see the Jets attempt that.If Rhodes was still Rhodes of 3 years ago, they could put Sheppard or Strickland on Moss and just play Rhodes over the top. Yeah, Moss is great, but at least then, you're relying on Brady to throw it 40 yards. (as opposed to throwing 12 yards to Welker all day long)The problem is if they put Revis on Welker, then Moss destroys them. I think they could have tried something different to slow down Welker but they only have one quality CB and that's Revis. If he's locked up on Moss, then Welker's going to have a field day.Revis is really good. Easily one of the top at his position in the league. His make up speed is nasty. How do the Jets play Moss man up for most of the game and allow Welker to catch 15 passes is just down right pathetic though.
