Forbes comes out with this list every year - http://www.forbes.com/sites/tomvanriper/2013/10/21/the-nfls-most-disliked-players-2/

I'd like to add coaches and owners as well as players in mine below:

Forbes:

1. Michael Vick
2. Manti T'eo
3. Ndamukong Suh
4. Ben Roethlisberger
5. Mark Sanchez

6. Jay Cutler

7. Tony Romo

8. Tom Brady

9. Carson Palmer

10. Reggie Bush

Mine:

1. Jim Irsay

2. Gary Kubiack

3. Greg Schiano

4. Richard Sherman

5. Bill Belichick

6. Suh

7. Sanchez

8. Kyle Williams

9. Arian Foster

10. Pacman Jones

I find it fascinating that Tom Brady is on this Forbes list. Doesn't do anything to put himself in a bad media situation. All the dude does is go about his business, win games, win Superbowls and walk around town with a supermodel on his arm.

I believe there's some straight up HATIN' going on with that selection. And I can't stand the Patriots.

You mad bro?

I feel like the Forbes list is more of a "Rank the Biggest Laughing Stocks in the NFL"

When his 'business' is 1 TD in 3 weeks, I'm guessing that leaves room for a lot of dislike from his fantasy owners.

Similar situation to Tebow, lately, in getting more credit than he sometimes deserves.

He's having a miserable year and getting bailed out by the defense, yet we have a "Tom Brady for MVP" thread here that's dozens of pages long.

Likewise, he's 1 for 7 on game winning drives this year after having some absolutely dreadful 4th quarter performances capped off by game changing interceptions the last two years in the playoffs. Yet, the one time this year that he actually played well at the end (after the defense got him the ball back for the 3rd time in the last 4 minutes), it's "that's vintage Tom Brady right there, everyone knew that TD was coming". It's like every time Tom Brady curls up and loses the game at the end, which has been nearly every opportunity he's had lately, people just completely forget about it 15 minutes later.

The guy has earned a lot with his past, but he's living off that right now.

Seems high for T'eo. The guy's a weirdo and a moron and I doubt he'll have much of a career in the NFL. But I don't think I'd put him among some of the other names on this list.

Meriweather should be on this list.
Clear #1. It doesn't get any more obviously dirty than him.
Agree... forgot about him - Apparently Martellus Bennett feels the same way http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/24117461/martellus-bennett-wants-to-punch-brandon-meriweather-in-the-face
Wow. Reading that made me hate Meriweather even more. I just assumed he was too stupid to stop aiming high. Didn't know he was a jackass about it as well. If Goodell is serious about making the league safer, he should make a statement by banning him from the NFL. See if he keeps laughing about it then. Honestly, Redskins fans and I'm sure staff don't even like him anyways. Do everybody a favor and ban him. Give the Skins a compensatory 8th round pick or something, I don't care.

Vick - dog murderer, idiot

Jason Pierre-Paul - slacker

Desean Jackson - I'm a Giants fan

Trent Richardson - I drafted this turd

Torrey Smith - how about some touchdowns you #######

Cutler - no explanation necessary

Belichick - see Cutler

Brady - prettyboy, childish tantrums getting old

Gronk - what the hell was that all about?

Matt Ryan - should be better, will never win a SB (poor man's Romo IMO)

Stafford - hit the gym tubby

Lifetime achievement awards:

Tiki Barber - just a disgraceful human for many reasons

Ray Lewis - most annoying person ever and a complete fraud

Daunte Culpepper - why don't you "get your roll on" right off a ####### cliff

Mike Tice - arrogant moron

Brian Billick - him too

At 5-2 and 1st place in the division with limited weapons... I'd say the important business has been pretty good.

Anyone can argue that his play is starting to erode. Doesn't really explain why he's on a Forbes 10 Most Hated NFL Players list.

Unless your arguement is that the national media credits ALL of New England's success year after year to Brady... which causes people not to like him. Personally I'm not buying that.

I'm guessing most of these votes came from middle-aged men, and I think there's a lot of jealousy when it comes to Tom Brady (money / success / endorsements / supermodel wife).

Seriously, what other reason would the casual fan have to hate him?

Are you under the impression this list is based on fantasy football hate? Because if so I'm pretty sure the entire list would be different.

I'm under the impression that the list is irrelevant and completely baseless as far as anyone could know. Simply stating "we polled 1,100 teenagers and adults" and nothing more forces you to make baseless assumptions on why the dislike exists anyway.

This is spot on. And when you say he earned a lot with his past it is the distant pass. It is talked like he is some playoff superhero but it has been a long time since he was a playoff savior.

What about a 'Most hated in fantasy' list?

1. Trent Richardson

2. Tom Brady
3. Sam Bradford

4. Brian Schottenheimer

5. Roddy White

6. David Wilson

7. Mike Shanahan

8. Maurice Jones-Drew

9. Lamar Miller

10. Stevan Ridley

I'm not a math genius. But I'm quite certain that 12 pages does not constitute a thead with dozens of pages. The David Wilson bandwagon or the Subscriber Content thread, sure. But not Brady's thread.

He's doing poorly this year. Still not sure why people would hate him. Everyone posting on this board would gladly trade lives with him in a nanosecond.

Dozen of pages? :)

Why do people hate Tebow? Because they feel that the media lavishes him with the achievements of others. That's what's been happening with Brady lately. Though I suppose it's fair to point out that Tebow isn't on this list so maybe that makes it the less likely reason. Though I don't know if Tebow is even eligible since he's not in the league anymore.

Btw, I'm pretty sure most people on this board would trade lives with any of those guys. They're all rich with hot wives.

Pretty good list although David Wilson should be in the top 3. He and Richardson are two of the most disappointment backs I can remember.

Fair enough.. Perhaps I would of had him higher if I was one of the suckers that drafted him :)

Why would Bradford be on the list? He was on pace for a career year and was greatly outperforming his ADP before getting hurt.

I typically don't hate value picks but that's just me. :)

My list would start with:

1. Cortland Finnigan

2. Steve Smith

3. Richard Sherman

Don't get me wrong think Steve Smith is amazing talent but don't respect the extra smack talking and the fights he starts after the whistle.

Same goes for Sherman. He should let his talent speak for itself and stop all this self promotion via Twitter etc.

1. Suh

2. Merriweather

3. Schiano

4. Sherman

5. Imthescientist

6. Big Ben

7. Vick

8. Irsay

9. Finnigan

10. Harrison

Meriweather should be on this list.
“To be honest, you’ve just got to go low now,” Meriweather said, according to ESPN 980′s Chris Russell. “You gotta end people’s careers.

“You gotta tear people’s ACLs,” Meriweather continued. “Mess up people’s knees. You can’t him them high anymore. You’ve just got to go low.”

This. Walked out of my draft cackling because I got Richardson AND Spiller. Ahhhh...fun times....

you forgot to say lose superbowls also. He doesn't just go win games and superbowls... are you delusional, the pats haven't won in almost 10 years, ever since Spy gate. Bad post bro. Get your facts right before you spew garbage.

Actually all I did was state facts.

But I apologize. Yes... he has LOST a couple Superbowls too. Let's move him up the list. Guy's a creep.
