Most likely to be traded (1 Viewer)

Lots of talks going around with Chris Brown, TJ Duckett, Ashley Lelie, and others. Does anyone really foresee any trades being made before the season kicks off? Personally, I think only TJ Duckett will move before kickoff. Anyone you can think of?

i really think cbrown and duckett stay put. lelie is a real possibilty but to who? i do think that this is ducketts' last year in atlanta,he'll land in pittsburgh next year if humes and hayes dont pan out. and unless lendale and henry fall completely apart this will be cbrowns last year in tennessee (as a titans fan i hope !)

I'd guess that Lelie will be moved, but it may not be until the team feels that Walker will be ready to go.

As for others, I don't see a whole lot of activity. As we've seen, NFL trades (at least among bigger names) just aren't all that common - much more talk than action.

Ashley Lelie to the...............GB Packers
I am sure he was, in some way, included in the original Walker Deal...lelie and and 5 or something like that.. I would eat a shoe, a small one, if he ended up a packer....

Daniel Graham, possibly?
Highly unlikely. Belichick insisted that he was not and is not on the block, and even though the Pats received offers for Graham, they are not going to trade him. Coach B maintains that Graham will be a Patriot the entire season.

from PFW...

According to Ashley Lelie’s new agent, Peter Schaffer, there are seven teams that are “very interested” in his client’s services for 2006, and he is working hard at getting a deal done to send Lelie from Denver to a team with which he would have the chance to compete for a No. 1 WR job. “Our goal is to get it done before camp, but there are a lot of moving parts to this,” Schaffer told PFW. Asked if there were any scenarios that would have Lelie staying put with the Broncos this season, Schaffer answered, “We’re not really looking at those right now. We’re looking at all the other situations.”

Does anyone know if there is a big cap hit with any of these players if they are traded or released? I could simply come down to getting rid of a guy is just too expensive.

Erron Kinney could be moved. I see him going before Chris Brown. The Titans have very good TE depth and Troupe and Scaife have more upside. Kinney's contract also jumps next year

You can add Jerry Porter to the list.
"RAIDERS DANGLING PORTER

We've heard from two different sources that the Oakland Raiders are willing to trade receiver Jerry Porter, if an interested partner can be identified. One source said that the Raiders discreetly have been shopping Porter for several months.

Porter was a second-round pick of the Raiders in 2000. He received a $7 million signing bonus in 2005, only a day or two before word broke of a trade that sent Randy Moss to the Bay Area.

Porter is scheduled to earn base salaries of $1 million in 2006 and 2007.

Teams that might be interested include the Eagles, Packers, Bears, Patriots, Jaguars, Saints, and 49ers."

From profootballtalk.com
If the raiders dropped the asking price a bit to a third rounder or less, they'll be swarmed with offers. The base salary of 1 million the next two years makes this deal a bargain for interested teams considering Porter is only 28 and possesses quite a bit of talent.
