Roos has played very well, he was a guy I hoping would fall to the Jags in that draft. But I even happier with the Titans passing on Khalif Barnes to take Roos and Khalif falling to the Jags. I think Roos has played well enough to justify the pick, but I'd still rather have Barnes.Titans:VY = Lhucks is smilingRoos = damn straight. but wait, we're being told that the Titans can't draft.![]()
I was thinking the same thing, how can Paul Spicer be overated? Most of the selections in this article don't provoke much thought at all. Thanks for the link because I wouldn't have seen the article otherwise but I'd say at least 1/2 are the usual suspects(which always makes me wonder just how over/under rated they are in the first place).
Are guys like Newman(DAL)/Allen(KC)/Rhodes(NYJ) really underated? And Franks(GB)/Spicer(JAX) overated?
It's Pete Prisco. Did you expect something halfway intelligent?Pete Prisco, is overrated. About Carr, Prisco says: "He will take over as the team's starting quarterback at some point and show the Houston Texans they made a big mistake."is he for real? maybe he was drunk when he wrote that?Has he seen the same David Carr play in Houston?!
While I don't think the Texans staff will look at his play and wish they had him, Carr will do better in Carolina than he did in Houston.Pete Prisco, is overrated. I think this article was intended for the average fan not fantasy geeks like us. I'm guessing the average football fan outside of NY & Dal may not really know much about guys like Newman & Rhodes. While knowing that Franks has been a probowler before the average fan might still think he's decent and not the piece of garbage that he has become. Have to agree. I thought the Steelers were spot on. Then again, lists like this are generally like shooting fish in a barrel.Jason Wood said:I'm not generally a fan of these lists, but for what it's worth...this one didn't strike me as terribly inaccurate.
WR Darrell Jackson. If they think he's going to cure their receiver problems, they are wrong. He's not better than Antonio Bryant, the guy they let go. Jackson drops a lot of passes.
I don't see how Madison can possibly be considered overrated at this point in his career when everyone thinks he sucks. Maybe he has a different definition of "overrated" than everyone else. Or maybe he wrote this article 4 years ago and is now just getting around to posting it on the website.Overrated CB Sam Madison. Once upon a time he was a great man cover corner. You'd never know it now.
Franks and Madison stuck out to me also. What yahoo is overrating them anymore?BoltBacker said:Thanks for the link because I wouldn't have seen the article otherwise but I'd say at least 1/2 are the usual suspects(which always makes me wonder just how over/under rated they are in the first place). Are guys like Newman(DAL)/Allen(KC)/Rhodes(NYJ) really underated?
