MSBL adult baseball league (1 Viewer)

I've been playing in the Atlanta based MSBL, Mens senior baseball league, since 2002 and have a blast. I've been playing the 38 and over league. Pitching is usually in the 50-65 mph range with not many fastballs, but mostly junk. It's great to get out there and run around like I'm a kid again. I played softball until I started to play baseball again and it lost a lot of its luster. Not enough of a challenge.

Anyone else on here still play?

I miss playing baseball but have no time for it right now.

All I got left are BBQ Wiffleball games and Bocce.

Sport Games you can play while drinking a beer.

I play C league softball and a few tournaments. Haven't played baseball in a while but I do help coach the kids baseball and softball teams.
What is "C" league?I've got 4 kids; 2 who play little league baseball and 1 who's currently in the middle of soccer, the youngest starts t-ball next month. I'm a high school teacher and I coach baseball and football and my wife's a teacher who still plays....tennis. :( We stay very busy, but it beats sitting around the house.

There's Major, A, B, C, D, and E league softball. Major are the guys who get paid to play. E is your beer leagues with guys that really suck. A, B, and C are all sponsored team. Some D teams are sponsored as well.Basically, as you move up, you are allowed more HRs per game as a team.

Same here...I wish my "local" league was as awesome as yours.

Joined this year up north WI/IL border with a couple of guys that branched off from some other team from years past. This is the most fun I have had in years sportwise since playing semi pro football. Softball is okay, but baseball is passion for me and brings back alot of memories. We have a few young pitchers that throw low 80's. Played our first scrimage last week and batted cleanup, only 1 RBI for me :wall: , but my defense was solid. Hope my body holds up for years of this...

They do something like that here, with "C" being the lowest division. "A" is more of a travel team that plays in a lot of tournaments, with "B" being more of a recreational team that is very good. "C" is the lowest, but still sponsored that usually doesn't travel to tournaments. The team I used to play for still plays "C" and is very competitive. They've gotten rid out a lot of us older guys and replaced them with younger. Like I said, I don't miss it much. I miss the guys, but not the softball. We had a baseball game yesterday and it was great.

I played with a guy who started the league a couple of years ago, and he's been playing for 20 years now.
