I am in one league which I only drafted 1 TE. That was Antonio Gates. Gates has a week three (3) bye. Knowing that I would have to drop someone from my roster in week three to fill that position, I decided to do it today. WHY? Because someone who did not draft a kicker picked up Olinda Mare and dropped Ben Troupe. I started drooling over this opportunity and dropped Musshin Mohammed and picked up Troupe.

I am stacked at WR and would probably never have played Mussy any way. My question is, Am I a bonehead?

I dont think so. But what do you mean stacked at wide receiver. Like, if he would never play for you. Then no.

I think Moose will put up similar numbers from last year. So unless one of your guys go down, it's not a bad move. But if Moss starts having problems in Oak, and Kennison or Engram fall off this year. You might need him. With that said. Take the gamble.

Engram only played 13 games in each of the past two seasons. He's actually a year older than Moose too. And Seattle has other WR's. Go witht he moose.

I like the move of adding Troupe, but would keep Moose over Engram.Neither will be a stud, but Moose will be a viable WR3

Allow me to pile on. I think Moose gets much better numbers than last year. it would be hard for the Bears to pass for less yards, so it stands to reason that his numbers go up. For where he was drafted, I lov Moose this year.

IMO, yes, you are a bonehead. You dropped a #1 WR on his team who was the top WR in fantasy football only 2 years ago and now has a soft schedule and eventually Griese throwing to him. His upside is decent and you're aren't THAT stacked at WR to feel so comfortable that you should drop a decent WR option with upside for a backup TE who will start 1 game for you. If it had been me, I'd rather have Mush and no TE for week 3 than Troupe for one week and no Mush.
