they won! it was very cool to drive about 50mph and come to a screaming halt down 595 Westbound among 30 motorcops (think CHIPS) seal off the highway and witness 3 coaches roll down the highway. My wife immediately commented on the security measure in place down here (she went to dinner on Wednesday at the hotel where the Colts were staying and it's like Fort Knox).
The strange part is that the Colts were staying at the Mariott Beach Club in Fort Lauderdale for the past couple of weeks and then there was this big motorcade to go about ten miles along the highway to the next hotel (Renaissance Hotel, Fort Lauderdale
). When they came screaming by I figrued they were on their way to Miami but the whole process seemed kind of pointless geographically-wise. who knows? Anyway, not updates on the Bears as they are in West Miami (total dump, think industry, dry-locked, dusty, etc) but the Colts, until this evening, were staying in a plush hotel on the beach.
I take the Colts for no other reason than they had refreshing ocean air for the past two weeks and practiced at my fins indoor facilities!!!
