12 team redraft non-ppr league

QB, WR, RB, W/T, W/T, W/R, K, D, DB, DL, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN

(BN=bench, D=DB/DL/LB)

Scoring:

Passing Yards 20 yards per point Passing Touchdowns 6 Interceptions -3 Sacks -1.5 Rushing Yards 8 yards per point Rushing Touchdowns 6 Reception Yards 6 yards per point Reception Touchdowns 6 Return Yards 20 yards per point Return Touchdowns 6 2-Point Conversions 2 Fumbles -1 Fumbles Lost -2 Offensive Fumble Return TD 6 Tackle Solo 1 Tackle Assist 0.25 Sack 3 Interception 6 Fumble Force 4 Fumble Recovery 2 Defensive Touchdown 6 Safety 2 Pass Defended 2.5 Block Kick 4 Tackles for Loss 2

What strategy shoud I use at the draft? Should I pick one of the top DB/DL/LB in early rounds or should I wait to get those players in the middle or later rounds? Should I pick a LB to use as a flex? Should I roster more than one DB/DL/LB?

Thanks in advance!

Watt is the only player I would target early with this scoring setup. This is identical to scoring as a 14 teamer I play in. However it is a single player keeper league.

Watt went in the 3rd.

Was a bit high for me but I would have grabbed him in the 5th.

I decided to wait and grabbed all my def starters in rds 15-18. I still managed to grab good players at all 3 spots. My idp guys will be streamed so I grabbed players with good matchups week 1. And with this scoring most of the top 20 at each position will only be a few points apart. You can get better value at offensive positions IMO.

This is a pdf of our draft if you want to take a look.
