I posted this in the IDP forum, but then decided to give the SP a chance.
I am very frusterated by the injury bug in FF and trying to guess who is going to play each week. I like deciding on starters based on match-ups, just not guessing game-time decisions.
In 2 of my 7 leagues run by MFL, we use backup options but they require manually re-running line-ups if a starer Does Not Play. Sort of a pain and still no tthe best fix for the problem.
I am totally tired of game-time decisions as my schedule on Sunday is just too busy to be glued to where I need to be.
Here is what I want.
I want to rank order players by position each week and to fill out the game score based on who played each quarter of the game.
So say it is a start 2 RB league. That is 8 quarters that need to be filled. The scoing would start at the top of the RB rank and if the top-most player played at all in a quarter, his score goes for the 1st of the 8. When the top-most did not play, it most to the next to full that quarter. Stop when 8 quarters have been filled. Each week, you set your roster by setting rankings at each position.
This way, it never seems like I have two few men on the field, which should never really happen if you have good players on your bench.
Does anybody know of a system that approaches this? Is there a good way to approximate on MFL I do not know about?
Thanks in advance,
OOKOOK!
