Going to try to keep this as short and to the point as possible
2 years ago I was 28. I had a good job making almost a grand a week at a busy restaurant. I had been single nearly 5 years so tried online dating again
I met an 18 yo girl from long island. Im from the bronx. We chat for a few weeks. Skype and all that.
Eventually she came over to spend a weekend. That weekend turned in to living with ne for 7 months. Prior to this I was suicidally lonely and a heavy drinker.
After 7 nonths I ask her to marry me and we did it at the courthouse the next week. I was on cloud 9
A month in to the marriage she tells me she is pregnant. While she lived with me she would go back to LI every other week to see her mom.....she was also sleeping with her ex bf and 2 other guys so she admits to me she doesnt know who the father is ( this is the one thing im grateful for....that she admitted it to me).
First thing I told her is to go back to LI, we are getting a divorce and she should get an abortion.
Ibmope around for a couple weeks and a guy comes to my door serving me divorce papers. Her mother hired an attorney
In the papers im being sued for everything. Legal fees and child support. She even made claims that I hit her because in NYS any marriage under 6 months has to end in fault. I tried to reach her but she cuts off all contact with me
Almost 2 months later I call and she answers her phone. In the brief conversation she tells ne she got an abortion. Im relieved.
Almost a year later, still no court date set I get a call from arizona child services.she moved to arizona and She gave birth to a boy a month ago and they have him because she shook him breaking 9 of his ribs and im legally assumed to be the father and they want me to take him
I inform them of everything and they order a paternity test. This is around march of last year. It takes til this august to get the results and itbturns out im not the father
Oh before I forget.....right after we broke upi was so depressed I started drinking even more and started smoking crack and snorting heroin. I blew through over ten grand in 3 months on drugs. I got so strung out I wound up in a psych ward for 2 weeks and lost my job
Now im broke and cant make rent. My lease ran out 6 months before and I was month to month. I kicked everything cold turkey with the help of xanax to get me through the first 2 weeks
A friend suggestedni go tp rehab because when im discharged they will find me a place to live. So I go for 21 days and now a year later im still living in a halfway house ( its so gross. Im white sobits even worse)
But now that I havebthe DNA results her lawyer changed the paperwork and she is the one at fault for adultery. Once I get the paperwork im out of this mess scott free.
I have a new girl, joined a new band and recently got my CDL-B license and im happier than iver been
