Are you going to more or less stick to a ranking at some point or change them around drastically so much every week?

I'm showing the ranking that I would go off of if I was drafting today. The rankings will change each week, hopefully not drastically but unfortunately sometimes.

Not feeling the Kitna love. The rest seems reasonable.
Agree fully. Kitna should be behind Favre and Big Ben for sure and maybe others. Particularly if you take off pts. for turnovers.
2 Consecutive 19 point weeks in my league. Plays indoors @ home with 2 great wr's. Bad defense playing from behind all the time. No running game.I don't know what you guys don't like. As long as he keeps his job, which would be my biggest concern, he is fantasy gold.(I don't get - points for int's or fumbles FYI)

That's fair enough, but I don't like the stark reaction to some performances. Brees, for example, has to be higher than seventh. Kitna?! Brees will bounce back. He should have no trouble doing what Philip Rivers did against Denver, and eventually Colston will be back. Even in a re-draft, it's a long season, and I don't even consider taking Kitna over Brees. Not unless the league scoring is 4pt./TD pass, 4pt./INT, anyway.

Where's Carson Palmer? Aside from the indoor stadium, you could say all the same things about him.

I don't think Carson has done this thus far this year.. Not saying Kitna is worthy of being the 6th rank QB but your Palmer analogy doesn't hold water.. he's been brutal this year..

If we're looking backward, Carson's FF resume crushes Kitna's.If we're looking forward, all of the factors he lists as positives for Kitna (aside from the stadium) apply equally to Palmer.

No way Cutler is 3rd fiddle to McNabb.

Cutler was NEVER on my radar as a QB this year...he just didn't show me anything special before.

After watching him play 2 games.....all I can say is WOW....this guy is a SURGEON.

I'm ready to say he's the best passer in the NFL.

With both Royal and Marshall he'll have 2 very good targets. One that will garner very little attention.

I think we are looking at the present, and into the future. Carson has sucked crack and Cincy looks TERRIBLE...Kitna I would put down around #9, I think #6 is a tad high.

While I do like what I see so far this year I think putting him #3 is a huge jump. I'm not saying he might not jump another spot but right now I like him @ 3

Holy hyperbole. I'm a Chiefs fan and yet I was and of course still am one of Cutler's biggest fans, but this is way over the top and premature at this stage. Very premature. You talk about being a "surgeon," but we've seen Peyton Manning dissecting elite NFL defenses for years. Two #######' weeks. Passing the torch already is asinine.

Your league must give TD points to Kitna if he throws a pass that results in a TD. Eevn if it is for the opposite team.

So why would he be above Rivers?

I would not drop Big Ben too far from his original ranking. Consider Game 1, all they had to do was run the ball to beat StL. Game 2 was in 40 mph windstorm and rain. If you thought he was good before the season started, there's nothing to change your mind at this point.

shoulder has me scared off a little

i'd prolly have Cutler at #1 right now, and i'm a huge Romo fan. that touchdown and 2 pt conversion sealed it for me.for those of us who had him on our radar, :goodposting:

It sure seems like you base your drafting strategy on the player's most recent game.Big Ben was throwing into 50 mph winds, and he did exactly what an NFL coach would hope: not make any mistakes.Dropping Brees 5 spots doesn't make any sense. He'll be fine.

Rivers has had a very good start to the season but I think SD will get back to their bread and butter of running the ball very quickly. I really like Rivers as a qb in the NFL I just don't know about fantasy yet. If LT continues to be hurt or just not that good he could definitely get a bump in the rankings.

Again Ben's shoulder has me scared and Brees without Colston give him a huge drop off in his production but still very good

BLS was talking about the quarterback for the Denver Broncos, Jay Cutler. You're right, the guy who threw the ball (he's called the quarterback) for the Kansas City Chiefs isn't very good. :goodposting:

Again I think your being a little premature by saying this after 2 weeks

I like seeing these every week(at RB and WR too.) I have some minor disagreements, but nothing major, I'd rank them closer to:1.Manning, he's only going to get better and he faced to very good defenses.2.Romo3.Brees, the loss of Colston is being overrated, Brees has made chicken soup before.4.McNabb, it'll be interesting to see what happens when Brown and Curtis get back.5.Cutler6.Big Ben, I'm not worried about the shoulder.7.Warner8.Kitna, doesn't seem like they are going to be stopping anyone.9.Rivers10.Rodgers
