My top ten qb's (1 Viewer)

Blackjacks

Footballguy
1) Brady - looks to be healthy and has more options than when he left

2) Brees - perfect qb for that offense

3) Warner - as long as he is throwing to Fitz and Boldin he has to be this high

4) Manning - alittle drop due to coaching changes, still should be very good

5) McNabb - McNabb should be electrifying this year. I have him alittle lower than others maybe due to not believing Westy will be okay

6) Schaub - Maybe higher than others but in this list I'm assuming everyone will be healthy and an injury is the only thing that will slow him down this year

7) Rivers - consistently good and getting better. I think last year might have been alittle overblown and he;ll come down to earth alittle this year

8) Rodgers - I think the Packers are going to run more this year and that might hurt his #'s alittle

9) Romo - He lost TO.........so. Romo is a nice player in a good offense. As lon as he has Witten he'll be fine

10) Palmer - I think he jumps back int he top 10 as long as his shoulder holds up

1. Brady. This is easy pickings

2. Peyton. I still think most consistent QB to own out there and the NFL best overall

3. Brees. Nothing wrong with him being #1 on any list. I dont think he repeats last year though

4. Rivers. I think the tip of the iceberg for this guy. Great targets and command of that O

5. WArner. Health would be a concern

6. Rodgers. Nice o, WR's and pass happy. dont believe the run more

7. Palmer. If he is healthy, I expect great improvement out of cincy. A rededicated Chad is the key

8. Brett Favre. If he signs and I think a given, I look for another 2007 type season. This is what he has wanted since that time. Great team to work with

9. Big Ben. I am going to be higher than most here also. Like his weapons and that they have opened up the O more. OL should improve

10. McNabb. He is consistent in the end. I dont like how much grounders he throws but cant argue with the numbers and new weapons

11. Trent Edwards. Another out on the limb pick. I love the addition of TO and jackson being more involved. The OL cant be worse that last year as Peters was terrible. I like going to the no huddle and he is my surprise pick again

I better edit this as I did forget Rodgers. Not sure how

No Rodgers? Id gladly take him over your bottom 5.

Looks like Garrard will be a great value again this year.
Great value as your 2nd QB? Great value as a guy you wait on and take late cuz your stacking up on RB and WR?Great value? He SURE isn't top 10. No one could predict that with a straight face and I hope thats not what you were saying.

Considering he was morally the #13 QB last year and along with McNabb, has had the best off-season of any fantasy QB, it wouldn't be a surprise if he finished in the top five or ten.

What do morals have to do with this? ;) Getting Holt was nice, but do you expect the other additions to make an impact this year?

I'd be completely shocked if he finished top 5, barring a whole lot of injuries. Top 10 I can see and he seems a good value.

Oh, and I'll take Edwards off season over Garrard's or McNabb's.

For sure. Vince Manuwai and Maurice Williams both went down in week 1 and will be healthy this year. Tra Thomas, Eugene Monroe and Eben Britton should provide big upgrades at tackle. And obviously Dillard and Thomas could be very good right away -- and if Mike Walker stays healthy, this could become a really, really good offense. They basically added five new offensive linemen this year -- I expect a much better OL in Jacksonville, and they finally have some solid receivers, too.

I also agree the additionsand the health of players are gonna help this year not only in the Jags becoming a better offensive team it'll impact the defense as well. I see their O being better and able to score points which could translate into them playing with a lead which will certainly help the defense in what they'll be able to do.If they're playing with a lead the defense won't have to be on the field as much, they'll be able to scheme things that could help create turnovers and just playing overall better defense in limiting opposing offenses from scoring and moving the ball.So this could be a pretty good year for QB David Garrard.

Top ten though? WOW I really can't believe you think he could be top five. LOLSo which one of Brady, Manning, Bree's, Rogers, Rivers, Warner will do worse than Garrard?

I would rather have

Peyton

Brady

Brees

Rivers

Rogers

Warner

Cutler

Romo

Matt Ryan

McNabb

Rothlisberger

Schaub

Palmer

before I even got close to a guy like Garrard. Garrard is a good QB, but not a stud. I might rather have Orton than Garrard.

Who of the above QB's would you take out to insert Garrard? And why?

Let's see.....Brady missed the entire season.

Carson Palmer missed just about the entire season.

Schaub was dinged up for a good portion of the season.

Ditto for Hasselbeck.

Big Ben almost has nowhere to go but up from last year.

Several young guns could be on the upswing as well this year to provide major competition for the 11th-16th QB ranks (Ryan, Edwards, Flacco, Campbell).

Garrard has 0.1% chance of finishing Top 5. Slim to 0.1% of finishing top 10, and I'd say roughly 25%-33% to finish in the Top 15 again, and this may be generous.

1. Brees -- Payton still hasn't learned about balance so Drew will be tossing it all over the place2. PManning -- Even in an off year the guy is top three, and I can see this year being no different -- even with the coaching change3. Brady -- Not ready to automatically put him back on top. Want to see how the knee looks, plus I'm not sold that the offensive line is really much more than average. 4. Rodgers -- Green Bay may have more balance this year, but Rodgers showed he could lead the team last year and they have more confidence in him now. He'll be given leeway to go downfield quite a bit.5. McNabb -- If Westbrook missed a chunk of time it will impact McNabb, but otherwise he should be outstanding. His deepest corps of WRs in years will help, and he'll be motivated to get his team to the Super Bowl6. Rivers -- Think he'll come back down to earth a bit as the Chargers run the ball more, but he still doesn't make many mistakes, and his TD total should remain high with a healthy Gates as a red zone target7. Schaub -- If ever this guy could play a full season it would be interesting to see where he'd finish. As it is he has the best WR in football in Andre Johnson, and Kubiak still looks to be a guy who likes to throw it a lot.8. Cutler -- In the minority here, but I think he makes the Chicago WRs better -- not all world, but better. He'll also check down a ton to Forte and will make Greg Olsen a star. This year will be good, but the next few will show that Chicago was wise to make this deal9. Palmer -- Supposedly healthy, Carson will be throwing a lot as the Bengals still don't have much of a ground game to speak of. A better offensive line will help, and the emergence of Chris Henry will help ease the loss of Housh.10. Matt Ryan -- Falcons will lighten the Burner's workload and Ryan will throw more as the team hands him the keys to the offense. Adding Gonzo as a red zone target could mean a 4-5 TD boost, and that could be enough to put him in the top 10.
