My top ten wr's (1 Viewer)

Blackjacks

Footballguy
1. Fitz (3)

2. Owens (same)

3. Marshall (1)

4. Wayne (5)

5. Jennings (6)

6. S. Smith (4)

7. Burress (9)

8. A. Johnson (out for one week)

9. Cotchery (10)

10. R. Moss (out of top ten)

Off list:

Boldin: only due to injury. Once I know when he is coming back he will be right back in there

Calvin Johnson: Huge disappointment. I think it's his qb play more than him but he needs to step it up.

Roddy White has been putting up some pretty good numbers too.
While I agree he has looked very good he has only had 2 games out of 5 with double digit points. He is getting closer but I would rather have every guy on that list over him and probably about 2 more. I would take him in my top 15 though.

I know this may be splitting hairs. But why Owens over Marshall?

Doesn't Marshall:

1) Get more targets

2) Catch a much higher percentage of passes chucked at him

3) Benefit from being the clear #1 target on his team while Witten is Romo's?

4) Much younger?

5) Have significantly more yardage in one less game?

Who is faster?

You're probably right, but while I have both WRs in different leagues, Marshall has only had one big week in my scoring formats. Great WR, but in a redraft, I'm taking TO barely ahead of him. Fitz, TO, and Marshall are basically 1a, 1b, 1c.

A lot of movement this week. I still don't get the Cotchery love. I'm not sure he's the Jet WR to have, let alone a top-10 guy. I give you credit for knocking AJ out and then putting him back in after a great performance, still it does bother me that AJ seems to play better with Sage than Schaub. I think you may be a little premature in dropping Calvin, but we'll learn a lot about him this week. My list:1.Marshall, 1 bad week doesn't offset 2 great ones and 1 very good one.2.Wayne, might be Indy's only productive WR. Seems to be getting more redzone targets.3.Owens4.Fitz, Doesn't have as much upside as the top-3 guys once Boldin gets back.5.Jennings6.Smith7.A.Johnson8.Burress9.R.Moss10.CalvinJust missed: White, Evans and S. Moss

No Santana Moss love? I know the guy put up a goose egg last game but other than that he has put up some impressive numbers thus far. He seems to be taking to the West Coast Offense as well as the rest of the Redskins team.

My top 10:

1. Marshall

2. Owens

3. Fitzgerald

4. Wayne

5. RMoss

6. Jennings

7. AJohnson

8. Colston

9. Burress

10. Smith

Jennings is easily the highest scoring receiver in my league. Why is he ranked so low on all of your rankings? Is it due to concern of Rodgers' injury?

Highest in mine as well... and BY FAR the most consistent.
So are you both saying you would take Jennings over Fitz, Wayne, TO or Marshall right now in a trade offer?I for one wouldn't
I think it's basically a toss up. If i had jennings and someone offered Fitz/To/etc i probably wouldn't do it, but by the same token if i had Fitz/TO/etc and someone offered Jennings i wouldn't do it.So in other words i view that grouping as extremely even.

With Colston coming back soon (this week, or next) would you consider drafting him in the top 10 WRs with the way Brees is throwing the ball around?

ETA: Saw in an above post you had him 8. I am hoping he takes off. Having him with Fitz and Marshall would be huge week in and week out.

Cotchery is way too high.

His targets per game of 6.3 ranks 42nd amongst WRs.

The top ten in targets per game:

Brandon Marshall

Bobby Engram

Dwayne Bowe

Steve Smith

Andre Johnson

Larry Fitzgerald

Reggie Wayne

Wes Welker

T.J. Houshmandzadeh

Calvin Johnson
