Yes....but G. Olsen 1 rec-1 yard -1 TD......Shicncoe 1 rec - for 1 yard - 1 TD....Cooley actually has put up the most yards of any TE at 3-38....So Detroit has been bad at giving up TD's to TE's, but they haven't done much else. In my league, a 5-50 day with no TD's is better than a 1-1-1 day.Addai said:really?JuSt CuZ said:Hes avail in most leagues, redraft that is....unless your in a league with me!Addai said:Heath Miller against Detroit. stafford/culpepper to pettigrew isnt exactly rivers to gates, and the stellers seem to have found their running game. Im expecting a very lopsided T O P for the steelers and 2/3 for 20 to 30 from pettigrew at best. Just M OI also like the othere side of this play in H Miller.Sarlakticacid said:Pettigrew Vs Steelerswe saw how Gates shredded emdeff need Troy back to plug that hole up
Kind of depends who you have as a backup or who you can pick up off FA but I don't see how you can bench Gonzo. He'll get his targets.quick question. Is San Fran good at stopping the TE? I know they have willis and a few other playmakers. That Gonzo matchup doesnt look all that gravy to me.

Ive been impressed with Pettigrew. Pretty nimble for a big dudeSarlakticacid said:Pettigrew Vs Steelerswe saw how Gates shredded emdeff need Troy back to plug that hole up
Yes, I see Ryan's prospects for this weekend as positive. He had 7 targets, 5 catches and 1 TD last week. Looks like Matt Cassel likes to throw his way as a security blanket. They will be trailing all day against a bad Dallas secondary. I won't call him a lock, but he has the best upside of the waiver wire TE's IMO. Especially for those Gates owners like me who were spoiled with his 9 catch 100+ yard, 2 TD performance.I'd be happy if Ryan produces 4/40 and maybe get a lucky TD. If he can get my team 8 FF points, I'll be content.TE-Shawn Ryan-KCC vs Dallas
Can anyone tell me more about this kid? Seems like he has potential to become a regular target of Cassel's and I may drop Zach Miller for him.Yes, I see Ryan's prospects for this weekend as positive. Wondering this as well... I'm leaning toward picking him up to cover Gates bye.Anyone think Mercedes Lewis can make it back to back productive games? SEA gave up decent games to Dallas Clark and Greg Olsen recently, and Jags pass attack is pretty hot right now.
I honestly don't know much about Ryan, as I don't have any illusions of keeping him on my roster for more than one week. My question is why on earth are you still holding Z. Miller? Dude has a concussion, is questionable, and playing a tough New York Giant defense on the road. Lot of decent choices already mentioned in this thread, any of them will beat Z Miller's ceiling for Sunday (2 catches for 15 yards). Can anyone tell me more about this kid? Excellent analysis, quite frankly I was too lazy to dig that far. What worried me was the target/catch ratio of 10/4 as opposed to Ryan's 7/5. Probably because Stafford was running for his life. But still, Stafford's health is an issue here going into the Steeler game. If CPep comes in, will he be looking to Pettigrew? I don't know. Steelers look like they have a killer instinct lately, and I think it will show against Detroit. I wouldn't be surprised to see a shutout. Dallas, on the other hand can't put away the weakest team. I see KC scoring 20 on them. Someone has to score. Maybe it'll be Ryan.I was torn between S Ryan KC & B Pettigrew Det for Blind Bid Waivers last night.
Went with Pettigrew but # targets were too close to consider any different (18 Ryan & 19 Pettigrew)
The matchup was the deciding factor for me.
Det vs Pitt (#27 Def vs TE)
KC vs Dallas (#15 Def vs TE)
Might not be much to separate them, but the Pitt Def can disrupt WR plans leaving the underneath/middle open for attack. Added that Polamalu is still out and the secondary will be trying to "contain" Calvin Johnson.
Oh, sorry..I had assumed you had bye week issues and needed a spot start TE.If you want a good sleeper TE going forward, look at CLE - Heiden. He is to Anderson what Royal was to Quinn.Miller is my backup to Daniels so I'm in no rush to dump him for a one week matchup play.
Forgot to add Pettigrew only played in 3 games. So, his targets are better compared to Ryan's.Excellent analysis, quite frankly I was too lazy to dig that far. I too was on the fence with these two TE's. Really they both should get some reasonable FF points based on targets alone.
where u find the TE vs DEF stats Birdie? been looking for a breakdown on Def vs each position but not found muchForgot to add Pettigrew only played in 3 games. Hello. First post here. - Garrard has yet to throw a TD on the road this year. I am flying with Pettigrew... if T Pola is out.Anyone think Mercedes Lewis can make it back to back productive games? It's availale on MFL (Points Allowed - By Position). It is sortable by position. Here is a link for my league:Sarlakticacid said:where u find the TE vs DEF stats Birdie? been looking for a breakdown on Def vs each position but not found much
You think is a better play than Marcedes Lewis this week ?Get Daniel Fells active.
I wonder if Leonard Pope will get some targets too since he has a second week now to learn the offense.TE-Shawn Ryan-KCC vs Dallas
