Myfantasyleague.com down? (1 Viewer)

I know that a lot of you use myfantasyleague for your league. We just had our draft but now I see that the site has been down for days now. Does anyone have any news on this? I hope they didn't go under. That would really cause a problem I don't really want to think about. Anyone have any news for this stressed out commissioner?

Our league has been having problems too but it seems to be restricted to roadrunner internet service (time warner). The t1 at work and iphone's at&t service have no trouble getting in. When I can't get it it redirects me to a roadrunner search page. using the ip address I am able to go to MFL main page. It looks like to me that roadrunner is having a problem resolving their DNS. It does not appear to be a problem with MFL itself. I've read some random article about Time Warner's DNS servers getting attacked by hackers, I wonder if that has anything to do with this. Timer Warner Attacked by hackers Tell me if any of this sounds familiar because I am curious if this is a local problem or not. I see mac is from ohio where are you from Richc?

I am in buffalo, and I have time warner. I know the 2 emails I got from guys in the league have time warner too and they can't get on? Its great to know it isn't the site. That would be years of info down the tubes.

The Time Warner thing makes sense. We lost internet service for 3 hours on sunday when their whole Northeast link was lost. this will be interesting if this is the problem. I can hear it now. Oh no, it isn't us, you must be mistaken.

I have been wondering if it had something to do with that outage on Sunday. That's why I am curious if it is localized to the northeast. Called time warner last night the support guy said they were still working on some stuff related to that outage and it should be fixed by Thursday. But he had me directly connect to my modem and do a power cycle for like the millionth time anyway

 I submitted a ticket with MFL on behalf of one of our owners and below is the response...

Dave:

Is there a chance he's using RoadRunner as his ISP? If so, we're getting some reports from customers who are having problems accessing league pages using RoadRunner, and his best bet here would be to contact the RoadRunner folks directly to try to have them resolve this issue for him.

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

Thanks,

Kevin

I had some problems with IE 8.0, but they went away when I clicked the little compatibility view button at the top. Apparently MFL doesn't work/load properly in 8.0.

i have road runner as well and couldnt get on. i change my DNS routing number to a free service and bypassed time warner. works fine now

i have mozilla. don't think that matters. its the DNS
Agreed. He may have a separate issue but this particular issue has been replicated with Safari, Mozilla and IE.

I also had the same problem at home and I am in Central NY with Time Warner. I could get on at work however when at home wouldnt let me log on. Seems to be working now though.
