the way i do -- is if you have AOL - install AOL on your work PC. Connect to AOL . I do it all the time and it works fine.

i used to be blocked at work, but i could get through if needed by clicking on links in league emails.

Stupidcensorship is most likely a proxy server. Google proxy server and you should get a few different ones. Try them until you find one that is not blocked by websense.

The proxy server basically access your desired site and you are only accessing their server from your work.

Only will work if thye haven't blocked all the proxy servers though.

Good Luck

Just a word to the wise though. If they block a proxy server, and then detect you trying to go it.... the consequences for intentionally trying to circumvent their implemented security measures may be worse than the consequences for having tried to get to the FF site.

The above is all good advice and worked some time ago when I needed it to.

Don't now luckily - as a funny aside, about 8 months ago where I work the whole corporation (and it's a big un) had a new set of directives and began blocking any website that was deemed 'not safe for work'. For reasons I'm not sure on fantasy websites were blocked (my guess? the word fantasy keyed the software).

Three hours later, every ff website was unblocked.

Goes to show you -- giant conglomerate CEO's play fantasy football too.

well, i tried the mfl support board suggestion of substituting the IP address...still blocked!!! i tried stupidcensorship.com...still blocked!!!

any other simple solutions or proxy servers that don't require installing software or anything like that?

TIA

here is a list of all the top proxies. my work had websense and a few on that list would work.... alienproxy.com, spiffyproxy.com, superproxy.be all workd for me at one point in time... just take a look at this website and go at it. im sure you will find something that works.... the site is www.topproxies.com

I don't know if this will work for myfantasyleague.com, but it's worked pretty well at my work for accessing Sportsline. Set up an account at gibeo.net - it's a service where they route websites through their programming so you can 'mark them up' with notes, messages to other people, etc. But all I use it for is getting through blocked websites.

Once you have an account, you just add '.gibeo.net' right after the '.com' and it works fine. Some links on Sportsline don't work for me, but it does the job well enough.
