MyFBG vs. Draft Dominator vs. VBD (1 Viewer)

With draft time around the corner for everyone, does anyone on here use any of these 3 and which do you prefer the most?

I see MyFBG has a Draft List, I'm guessing that is based on the settings for my individual league. Has anyone used this list to draft their team before? I'm curious how this differes from using the VBD App or Draft Dominator.

I used MyFBG last year during the season and thought it was very helpful. Just wondering what others thoughts are and what the best way is to use all 3 of these resources. Maybe David could chime in with his thoughts as well.

I've used the DD for the past 6/7 years and really like it. I also use the projections dominator to import into the DD. Have looked around at other draft tools over the years and none have been impressive enough for me to move away from DD

I recently download the DD Moblie app and it seems to be pretty good. I have my VBD sheets that I did as well. I was just curious if people had used the Draft List before and how close it mirrors the VBD and DD App.

I use the DD with my projections imported into it from the PD.

I use it not for the VBD feature which I ignore, but really to extensively mock and then track my draft. It's great.

For me the great thing about Draft Dominator vs the others is the ability to set custom baselines for VBD. VBD is great and all for comparing value among different positions, but you must know what baseline is being used. I don't like "secret formulas" which are used by the phone app. If VBD is so important the baseline for comparing players shouldn't be a secret. With Draft Dominator you have several choices for setting the baseline, including setting it yourself. This is especially important in the league I play in as it allows me to tweak it to my liking and knowledge of how my league drafts over the years.

I'm not as knowledgeable about the mobile stuff as I am Draft Dominator. This would be a good question for the forum devoted to the mobile apps. I wouldn't be surprised if it's already been asked an answer given there.

Here's the answer I got from support "You can edit rankings but can't input your own projections. Very few people have the time to do their own projections so we have to prioritize things based on how many people would use the feature!"

There's a lot of functionality in Draft Dominator to recreate in the mobile apps and they are still pretty young, so yes, doesn't surprise me if it isn't in yet. Sounds like Simon got word about it as a request though. Speaking in general terms as a developer (though not of these apps), I'd ping him about it again at the end of the season to help keep the demand for it fresh in his head going into design plans for next year's version. Nothing bumps up your perceived demand for something like hearing fresh someone asking for it.
