Najeh Davenport (1 Viewer)

If Drew is still his agent he probably wants starter money...and he is a major injury risk.

Good player with lots of potential though.

Would love to see him back for a decent price in GB...that way hopefully one of the 3 RBs we would have would be healthy enough to play.

Is there something wrong with this guy?
Besides being injury prone and pooping in peoples closets? Nah, nothing at all. :loco:
:goodposting: Never gets old. :lmao:
yeah, that's a deadly combination. Just injury prone? He'd already be signed. Just pooping in a closet? Snapped up in a minute. But both? If he gets injured when squatting, he's not a featured back.

Najeh Davenpoop. You're right.....that never does get old.

I was kind of hoping he might land in Baltimore...but Lewis and Anderson signing there took care of that. My guess is that he winds up back in Green and Gold.....pooping in some poor girl's closet at St. Norbert College again this summer. ;)

He seems like the type of RB that may not get much interest until after the draft. Teams that do not get the RB they want in the draft might then be interested in him. I can see teams like Carolina or Pittsburgh also be interested if they do not draft a RB early.

Why do people so love this guy? He is a decently skilled player who is ALWAYS hurt.

I mean ALWAYS. Guy sneezes and pulls something. Why would a team be interested? Regardless of $$, he has a proven track record of utter unreliablity.

Having owned Ahman Green in the past, I learned not to even bother picking this guy as a handcuff, because he never makes it more than 1 game without hurting himself.

Better than being infatuated with Maurice Morris... :bag:

Isaac Bruce was "always" hurt in the beginning of his career too

It is obvious that NFL GM's don't read this site as much as they should. Otherwise they would know that Davenport is a stud waiting for his chance.

Davenport to his agent: "Aw crap, I didn't think the Pack would re-sign Ahman on the cheap. There goes my chance at a starting job.....right down the toilet."

:bye:

Be patient. It takes a little longer for # 2.
Anthony Thomas part 2
A Thomas is a much better back then Davenport....Ive said it before Najeh = Tony Richardson

A spot starter and would make a good FB. Never good enough to start full time. Not in college, not in the pros.

As with Mike Bennett, Najeh is not getting any takers because he is perceived (rightly so) as brittle. Talent plus brittle at the RB position = last option (i.e., signed as a last resort after the draft).

Najeh was the starter for the U in 99 but tore a ligament in his knee the first game of the season against Penn State. James Jackson finished the year as the starter.

I like NajehI think A Train's better days are behind him

there is your answer. That, and he's a rb.
Very skilled RBs can be had in the NFL.Skilled RBs are near a dime a dozen.

decently skilled? Meh. I'd rather have Chester Taylor. or a bunch of other backs.

then he came back and played FB for Portis, McGahee, and Gore.... I admit hard to beat those guys, but to start over JJ wasnt (pre knee).Najeh gets more hype on this board then in the real NFL. TR man.....

You really aren't giving T-Rich enough credit here.
