Chaz Schilens?
 Obviously, I was trying to lead the "bread crumbs" towards Calvin Johnson with my clues. I do feel that Schilens is extremely undervalued...especially for keeper/dynasty leagues. If the guy's progression and work ethic matches the glowing reports from the Oakland beat reporters, the guy could be a monster sooner as opposed to later. Assuming Javon Walker is toast, the young OAK WR's look to be the following:DHB - stretch-the-field deep threat WRSchilens - possession / RAC WRHiggins - slot WR

You are talking about Chaz Schilens, but fact four is kinda misleading. He's technically the#1 WR, but he's highly unlikely to finish higher than 3rd on the team in catches.

D Hixon?
ah should have know Hixon is far to skinny to be 225. 1. 24 years old2. 6'2" 192 lbs3. pro day 40 time 4.39 (no combine invite)4. could be his teams #1 WR5. QB #1 pick6. averaged ~14 y/c last year.I think Hixon should also be getting a lot of attention. Usually if you have a 3rd year receiver who was a reasonable draft pick (4ht round) who had 600 yards receiving in his 2nd season and had a shot at being the teams #1 he would be a lot higher of a redraft pick.

I only deal in facts.Using your thoughts, Moss (Welker), S Moss (Cooley), R Williams (Witten), Colston (Bush), VJax (Gates), Bryant (Winslow) and Holt (MJD) may not be "currently their team's #1 WR", as well. You don't have to have the most receptions to be the team's #1 WR.

Well the facts are that CS had only 15 receptions last year, and was their "#1" receiver for the last two games in 2008. Since then they have drafted a receiver high, another in the 4th round and their veteran underwent super duper secret surgery in the offseason. Calling CS the #1 a "fact" is misleading. Its an opinion.EDIT: In fact its a misnomer to call CS the #1 at the end of last season. JLH had more receptions, yards and TDs the last 3 games of the year and more receptions and yards and the same number of TDs the last 2 games.

The Raiders beat writer (McDonald):http://fantasyfootball.usatoday.com/conten...NFL&id=4964

...believes Chaz Schilens is the Raiders' best receiver right now.

...was reportedly the "best and most consistent receiver on the field" at the Raiders' recent minicamp.

To get back on topic, do you feel Schilens is currently undervalued?

I feel like he is correctly valued. Hes got a shot to produce but is still very inexperienced and has a ton of competition from other inexperienced wideouts. 40 Catches for 560 yards and 3-4 TDs would be a big jump for him, hoping for much more is a little pie in the sky dreamy for my tastes. I'd rather fill out my roster in redrafts with Josh Morgans, Chris Henries, and Nate Burlesons this year.

absolutely, however I can also understand the speculators. Even if you like him more than any other Raider WR (like me), he still has Jamarcus throwing him the rock. Seen QB's kill WR's too many times
