Name your top 3 sleepers this year (1 Viewer)

I'm going with James Jones (WR GBP), Matt Schaub (QB HOU), and David Martin (TE MIA).

Lets hear em...these guys could take you to the championship if they pan out. Ask anyone who picked up MJD or Colston last year.

r u talking about sleepers in a keeper league, or immediate impact this year?

Immediate impact
The other Jones is my sleeper....Houston's eventual #2 Jacoby Jones.

No offense, but if any of these guys leads anyone to titles, I'm going to quit FF next year. How about:Leon WashingtonSantonio HolmesDaunte Culpepper

this isn't that easy.. in no special order

1. Kenneth Darby

2. James Jones (if anyone still considers him a sleeper)

3. Brandon Marshall

WR - S.HolmesTE - C.CooleyRB - L.JordanQB - Big Ben
Love em all, although not especially as "sleepers", but more as value plays. I doubt I'll snag Holmes this year, as I play with 3 die hard PIT homers, and I doubt I'll get him at the right price. Cooley is always undervalued, and is as solid as they come. Jordan is good value late, although I'll certainly try to sell high on him during the first 4 weeks. And Big Ben will be a terrific late QB2 with upside.

pretty sure holmes has joined hackett on the "ex-sleeper who has been over hyped to the point where they will be overpaid for" list

Cooley is way out the bag now ... he's ranked as the #2 TE (over T Gonzales, Heap, and Shockey) by a major publication's August updates.

I almost listed T. Williamson...entering his 3rd year with the team, former #1 draft pick...and I think T. Jax might actually do well this season. Williamson started off hot last year, then fizzled out.

Three sleepers isn't enough depth of choices to protect yourself in case your draft goes horribly wrong and you're left to pick from the dregs to round out your squad.

QB:

Kitna DET (ADP is stll pretty low for a Martz offense with Roy Williams and Calvin Johnson)

Jeff Garcia TB (he's still got it)

Brady Quinn CLE (splitting first team reps now)

RB:

AP2 CHI What if Benson can't handle the full load and gets nicked up or has fumble issues or character issues?

Brandon Jackson GB (Morency doesn't seem like a very big obstacle to become GB's starting RB)

Jessie Chatman MIA (good camp, coach hasn't proclaimed a starter but probably just the coach showing whos' the boss, Brown more injury prone due to KO duties)

Ahman Green HOU (5th round ADP could net you 2nd round performance)

Fred Taylor JAX (7th round ADP could easily outperform any 7th round WR and has even greater upside if MJD gets hurt.)

Ladell Betts WAS (just needs opportunity to succeed, Portis has ??? w/last years shoulder and this years foot)

TEN RB's LenDale White (9th round ADP) and Chris Brown (11th round ADP) draft both late and lock in RB3 value that is typically an ADP in round 6.

Correll Buckhalter PHI (ADP round 15) Westbrook is a serious injury risk (possible bone on bone now) Buckhalter has shown that he will be productive in Westbrooks place.

WR:

Greg Jennings (ADP round 9)

Brandon Marshall DEN

David Boston TB

DJ Hackett SEA

Brandon Jones TEN

Kevin Curtis PHI

1) S.Holmes2) Andre Johnson (Not sure if he counts)3) Jennings (GBP)
No, he doesn't count, unless of course you count solid #2 possible #1 WRs as sleepers!
Only reason why I think he might be a "sleeper" would be a new QB. He put up solid numbers last year, but that offense was all smoke and mirrors. I will say sleeper because of the potential to be big.

1) Culpepper

Likely availble at the end of drafts. Big arm and calls his own number at the goal often. Supporting cast is not without talent (Porter, Curry, TE).

2) Welker

They paid him $9 million in guaranteed money. That's alot of money. Either they love him as a returner, or they are going to use him. I think especially valuable in ppr league.

3) Shiancoe

Same thing as Welker. They paid him a ton of money for a reason. A young QB often looks for the TE dumpoff.

I think the entire Houston offense is a sleeper right now. And so is Pittsburgh's passing game.
Somebody better tell their o-line then. Speaking of sleepers, I think they "SLEPT" through most of last year (at least with regard to pass blocking). OH SNAP!

Thank you, I'll be here all week.

All the Boston supporters have went into hiding with the recent news...can't say I blame them.

Not much mention of Jacoby Jones either. I thought he'd be on a lot of peoples lists.

Shallow sleepers here...but L Jordan and J Lewis offer great value given where they are going in drafts...nothing but upside after round 5....

David Martin???? Don't bank on this one. He has played in all 16 games once in his 6 year career. His career stats suck so I don't see him putting up big numbers. In 6 years he has accumulated 87 receptions 766 yards and 9 TD's. Good luck with that one.

i realize you said possible, but this came up numerous times last year with no supporting link. so, link?

Atlanta's passing game?

Jenkins and Harrington if I have to pick 2. Basically everything has changed in Atlanta so I wouldn't be surprised if the results do too. I think they'll throw a lot more this year.
