Back by popular demand we'll be running this bad boy again.
Official rules
Preseason draft for sim replay using http://whatifsports.com/nba-l/ starting when the NBA season ends. Player eligibility: Any living person is eligible to be drafted but they must meet WIS eligibility minimums to compete in the sim (200 minutes). Full and combined seasons from 2013-14. No salary cap, no clones, 15 man roster (I think). WIS costs about $15 for a team.
24 team snake draft consisting of 18 rounds. No supplemental rounds. No trading of draft picks permitted until the 4th round has begun. Player-for-player trades are permitted at any time. Exchanging of draft slots may also be done before a drafter's first rounder is made.
Some notes on the sim:
- fatigue and injuries are based on total minutes played for a season
- a player will become fatigued and may suffer an injury if he is overused
- if a player's team played fewer than 82 games in real life then his minutes available will be projected to an 82 game season
- players must have played at least 200 minutes in any given season to be eligible
- if position effectiveness is less than 100% for a position, the player's performance will suffer when playing that position
