NBA BTTF VI Draft - DONE! Regular Season OVAH. Commence trade talk and six month wait for WIS rosters (1 Viewer)

16.13 Dillon Brooks F MEM

another rookie, and a 2nd rounder at that - oh boy

@modogg & @Niles Standish are up

ETA: We're counting G league stats - right? ;)
yeah, I am thinking we are down to the last 5-10 players in the NBA. We were looking at Thornwell, so that takes that list to 4-9 players left. Just so we can keep this thing going, @Niles Standish and I will go with the player who should have been the 3rd runner up for rookie of the year last year, Timothy Luwawua-Cabarret, 76'ers. I am soooo positive that is misspelled too

Looks like @SpartansRule is up then @Long Ball Larry

Luwawu has been taken.

@JMon348 took him last round, sorry

when else would it start?
well, i guess i was thinking like if 1.1 only takes 5 minutes, then does 1.2 get 55 minutes?  i don't know, just don't want to mess anything up.  though i guess if we kept using that logic and going backwards, who knows when it would start and end.  maybe create an infinite mobius strip time loop able to create the ultimate NBA simulation.

Josh Huestis had a 26.1 PER last year, is having a huge preseason, and I hear OKC is pretty weak at small forward. Sounds like the SOD to me.

PG Kyle Lowry, Delon Wright, Mario Chalmers
SG James Harden, Tyreke Evans, Troy Daniels
SF Josh Huestis, Tobias Harris, Marvin Williams
PF Pau Gasol, Dwight Powell, David West, Henry Ellenson
C Mason Plumlee, Aron Baynes, Joffrey Lauvergne

Or it would reset everytime daisy is tired and decides to go to sleep even though her pick is 2 minutes away

@TobiasFunke - I think my evening just opened up here in D.C. (well, just across the bridge in arlington).  Where should I go to watch the game tonight? Ideally a place with some decent talent now that I'm about to be single again, and not too many dooshes.

If you are around, drinks are on me!

Make up pick - Jeff Withey C Dallas
he was on my team last year but didn't make the final roster cutdown.  all I remember is that while researching him I came across pics of his girlfriend (now ex-gf).  might want to do a google search on that

I'll be at the park, so no cornhole possibilities. If you're in Arlington I'd say head to the Clarendon bars for the best combination of talent and game-watching. If you're coming into the city there's some bars just to the north of the park that will have a game vibe. There's also a new waterfront complex opening up today, with the Foo Fighters opening up a new music venue there and a bunch of new restaurants and bars. It's gonna be madness in that part of the city (one stop from the ballpark), so if I were you I'd stick with Clarendon, but I'm married and 44 and lame.
