*NBA THREAD* Abe will be missed (2 Viewers)

:lmao: James is so afraid of taking the last shot.
Exactly. He was wide open.
I can't believe you guys are ripping on him for this, only seconds after he tied it up with a clutch 3. What the hell does this guy have to do already?
Shoot the ####### ball instead of looking for Udonis ####### Haslem who is being guarded by KG and shadowed by another defender 19 ft from the basket with 2 seconds left.
He was tripled teamed. Shut up.
That's fine. You got a Haslem fadeaway from ~ 17ft off the dribble with KG's hand in his face instead. You'd rather have that look?
I would have designed aplay where Chalmers wasn't overlapping the dribbler30 feet away from the basket while 2 of the other outlets were standing on the short side so one guy could guard bothof them.

Wow, how is Wilked going to ##### about reffing in this series anymore?
Take it easy big guy...
Oh, I'm taking it easy. I don't care who wins this series, but you've made this thread pretty much unreadable with all your #####ing about fouls. The refs just handed Boston this win, so I'm actually curious how you are going to continue crying about fouls from here on out.
He'll find a way.

So Zebras give Miami Game 2 and give Boston Game 4.

On the plus side the series probably should be 2-2 right now, on the other hand the refs seem way to noticeable so far this series.

They were looking for the 3, which is really the only play they had. Another overtime and they get killed without LeBron. That was their only chance to still walk away with a win tonight, so it had to be a 3 look. JVG knew it too.

Great look for Wade there, can't fault him - you make some, you miss some.

Although he probably should have looked for Udonis in the corner for 3.

Game 2 was when I went off... I don't think I have had much of an issue since. I knew Pierce was going to get his 6th from Kennedy and called my shot, beyond that not quite sure what you are getting at...

Good analysis here... Wade got a clean look, can't argue with the call

"ok guys. I've had all year to design this and it's aWESOME. Pass the ball to dwayne. And then, everyone stand there. And then Dwayne - since you have the ball - do a little move thingy and throw it up from three. Ok? 'heat' on three!"

Uh, no. On a long enough time line the more talented team wins the game.

I don't get it. Wade got a great look.

Miami was going for the win there, looking for Chalmers first, and then Wade seemed to want to shoot a three at the end, even before he got Daniels with the fake. They wanted no part of another OT, which I think is the wrong approach.

I'm sure the NBA will make it up to the Heat, can almost guarantee they win the next game. best part is this will go down as a "great game" when in actuality it was a joke of a game with the officiating

Wade, Chalmers, Haslem and scrubs are more talented than Rondo, KG, Allen and scrubs?I think Boston has the talent advantage when James and Pierce are out.

I'm with you Gunz, if you can get Wade a clean 3 to win the game, you gotta take it
Yeah, I doubt any play they could have run would have resulted in a better look. Tell Spoelstra that he's going to have that look for the game coming out of the timeout and he'd have been happy.

Jim Rome ‏@jimromeLebron misses that shot, twitter breaks. Wade misses it, "Ohhh, sooo close."============ So true.
Misses the point. No one blasts LeBron for missing game winners - the criticism comes from his lack of desire to take them.ETA: I shouldn't say "no one" - clearly some will bash him for anything he does. I'm not one of those; my criticisms stem from his refusal to take game deciding shots when there is no one on the planet who can stop him.

Well that's dumb criticism. He made a HUGE 3 pointer tonight which put the game into OT and nearly got Miami the win. That's as clutch a basket as it gets. I've ripped LeBron in the past over this issue, and I was being stupid.

Again, though, I have to question Spoelstra. Last play of the regulation, last play of the overtime- in both situations, there appeared to be no design to Miami's offense. Why call a timeout if the results going to be (1) give it to LeBron and let him do his thing and (2) give it to Wade and let him do his thing?? Spoelstra just always looks like a deer in the headllights.

Pietrus came up big for that 2 min sequence.

Otherwise, Celts bench was nonexistent. That can only carry them so far...

I like to bash him for his ZERO rings. It's the only argument I need Sean!!

Until the end there, I was wondering if Pietrus was in on some kind of fix. Every time I turned around he was making stupid foul after stupid foul. But he made up for it with some great D and rebounding down the stretch.

That 3 was a big shot. I credited him for it when he made it. But it wasn't even close to a game deciding shot.

Sure it was. :37 remaining down by 3.

I think the Lebron criticism is really a result of the public seeking the next Kobe Bryant/Michael Jordan.

Lebron's game is different than their's and this last second shot criticism ridiculousness is out of control.

It took Michael Jordan a while to develop a deadly jumper and win a ring. Looks like Lebron is on a similar path to me.
