*NBA THREAD* Abe will be missed (1 Viewer)

Where did all those people go that said that to win anything the Thunder had to get rid of Westbrook after last year?
He did have that turnover at the end after dinking around with the ball - thankfully for him Pau bailed him out - and then Durant.

Didnt realize he had 37pts until those interviews a minute ago. Feels like 10 minutes ago they said he had 25. Durant hit the shot, but Westbrook was the man behind the comeback,

How many stars would let those two missed free throws get to them for the rest of the game?

*cough* LeBron James *cough*

Not Kevin Durant. He simply took the game over after that. Dude's a beast.

Spurs and thunder

Celtics and heat

Both going to be awesome series
Obviously the Spurs and Thunder looking pretty good. But as for the bolded...are you sure either team (much less both) are going to make it?
Maybe the Celtics have another run in them, KG looks reinvigorated, but if the Heat dont make it to the finals (AND Bosh is still out) then I think the finals will be anti-climatic because the Thunder/Spurs will be heavily favored and likely win in 5 or 6 games.

Whoever is guarding Kobe... I wish that he woukd punch Kobe in the face everytime he gets the ball. Kobe and Ron Artest are the two most annoying players in the NBA.

If LeBron doesn't step up today and just bulldoze his team to a win, I will be reassessing.

8-9 years now he gotten the benefit of the doubt from me, I'm starting to doubt it will ever happen.

Shocking...

Kobe Bryant was quick to upbraid Pau Gasol for an errant pass late in Game 4, which Kevin Durant stole and converted into a 3-pointer to give the Thunder the lead.

"It was a bad read," Kobe said. "Pau has got to be more assertive ... He's looking to swing the ball too much. He just has to shoot it." Gasol owned up to his error, admitting that he should have shot the ball, but he doesn't deserve to be thrown under the bus. Kobe's mistakes handed Game 2 to the Thunder in OKC, and he was just 2-of-10 in the fourth quarter on Saturday, launching more than a few bad shots from the perimeter.
Kobe's turning more and more delusional as he ages. Sad to see.

Honest question. Has Kobe Bryant ever accepted responsibility for the Laker's poor play? Ever?

Be a leader and shut up when speaking to the media. You have an issue with a player, take it up in the locker room.

I don't think he's becoming more delusional; his mentality has always been like this. It's just that for whatever reason, he has recently been making a consistent effort to telling the media everything on his mind. The abuse that Gasol sometimes takes is almost comical.

As much as id like to see the heat win a title just for the sake of the kobe folks, you cant help but root for and admire okc (except for the whole screwing seattle thing) for building their team the right way, watching them grow together, and earning their chapionship pedigree by going through dallas and now the lakers and then the spurs. Beating the old guard first just seems right. Pretty reminescent of the 90s bulls beginning.

I think it is going to be very difficult for them to beat the Spurs, but both teams are easy to root for.

I don't know why anyone would want to play with Bryant. 16 years in and he obviously has no clue how to be a good teammate on or off the court. It's been fun to get to watch his talent as a Laker fan, but I've never been able to root for the man other than to hope he gets my favorite team a win. 2 more years of this at least, and it's just going to get worse as his talent and the team around him continue to deteriorate.

At this point, I want OKC or the Spurs to win. I would like Indiana to close the Heat out in 5 but hopefully at least 6 to get them gone. Hell, I'd be fine with anyone but the Heat and Lakers.

Without Bosh, I can easily see the Heat losing the next two.

I hope Bron pimp slaps Wade on the court during the next game and humiliates him.
if there are any open handed slaps to the mouth in that series it will be Granger to Lebron. he has already punked Lebron twice.

sad to watch a 35(?) year old man act out in this manner.guy has no leadership or communication skills with teammates. sad he does not feel comfortable enough as a man to approach them in the locker room. its never ever "we"...its always "pau needs to do this" "Andrew needs to do that"

Classless prima donna. Talented? Yes. Great? Not even close - the great ones make those around them better. Kobe is a selfish, team cancer.
