how great would a Detroit vs Golden State NBA Final be? I'm sure the NBA would be ecstatic
:lmao:

I'd think the NBA would love to have Golden State in the Finals, no? Exciting style of play, huge market, what's not to like from their standpoint?
Seriously? Especially with Curry as the face of the franchise. I'm sure Adam Silver would #### his pants.
I can't tell if you're agreeing with me or not. I think so? GS would be a coup for the league. Guessing it would be their second-favorite West representative after LAC, with Chicago or Lebron as their preference in the East.
Agreeing. Seriously should have ended with a period.

Gerald Henderson put up 31 tonight with 29 from Kemba in the win over the Raptors. I'm not sure that I'm still living in this reality.

If paying Lance is enough to get Gerald to play this well, it is worth every penny. Except that Gerald looks like Kobe to a creepy degree. #### Kobe.

Raptors played like absolute garbage. 2nd worst game they've played this year.

I think we've seen enough from Henderson to know this is the exception rather than the rule, yes?

I imagine being a 7'1 criminal is a bit of a challenge.
A couple of years ago (during the Bobby Gonzalez "era") two members of the Seton Hall basketball team broke into a home and tied a family up at gunpoint and robbed the house - about three blocks away from the campus. One of them was 6'10" - didn't exactly take Sherlock Holmes to solve that mystery.

A 7'1" criminal with long bright red hair and lots of tattoos. Not too hard to spot.

If he could have stayed healthy while he was with the Sonics/Thunder, his life could have turned out much differently. He wasn't a bad player.

battle of the titans tonight between the bucks and timberwolves since the bucks are one game over five hondo i predict they lose take that to the bank

Anybody know why the Grizz want Jeff Green? He seems extremely overpaid to me, and not a great fit. Obviously they need somebody to replace the completely wasted minutes that Carter, Prince and Pondexter are using, but Green isn't really the kind of scorer they need.

Brandan Wright to Suns

The Suns are finalizing a trade to acquire Brandan Wright in exchange for a future draft pick.
The Suns have seen Alex Len step up in a big way lately and he's one of a handful of young centers to flourish in the past week. That said, he has been injured far too often, so this is a little extra insurance. As great as Wright was in his Dallas days, he's not a lock for consistent minutes with the Suns' slashing style. Most fantasy owners can take a wait-and-see approach. As for Len, he's been too good for the Suns to take him out of the starting lineup and this will likely hurt Miles Plumlee more than the young Ukrainian.

Jeff Green to the Grizz is almost done. Can we just contract the entire Eastern Conference?
Merger of the Heat and Cavs about to be announced.The Cleami Heataliers will boast a pretty good starting line up of;

Irving PG

Wade SG

Mozgov C

James SF

Bosh PF

They may start Love at C but starting 5 all-stars is kind of over kill.

Damn... :(

Roy Tarpley, the talented Dallas Mavericks power forward who flamed out of the NBA due to substance abuse issues died Friday, at the age of 50. According to The Dallas Morning News there was no official cause of death, but multiple Mavericks officials were informed he had liver failure.

Hawks hang on to cool off the Pistons.

Insane run they've been on. Next up a matchup of the possible top two teams in the East with the Wizards (assuming they hang on against Bulls).

well the bucks home crowd tonight is loving kenyon martin i mean they are going nuts everytime he does anything so who knows and the announcers just said that he has a presence and they are liking him a lot and he just set a bliind screen when the ball was coming up but they still just saw there lead cut from twenty to about fifteen when he was on the floor so i will hold my applause for a bit yet but maybe i am feeling optomistic on the one now take that to the bank brohans

The Magic have to fire Jacque Vaughn. This is ridiculous. They have talent and the 5th-worst record in the league. No way this team should be this bad.

When the Celtics signed Green to his current contract, Hollinger buried the Celtics deep within the earth for giving second-tier-star money to a player who hasn't proven he's any good and literally has a heart problem. Called it the worst signing of that offseason. I'm guessing that column will resurface now that Hollinger traded for Green.

Jusuf Nurkic may push for rookie of the year if he can avoid fouling at such an awesomely high rate (one every 5 minutes or so). The only rookie even close to him in PER is Mirotic who is playing pretty limited minutes as well.

I don't think he is a good player yet, but he's shown signs of being a remarkably well rounded center. He has a couple nice post moves, especially over his left shoulder, he moves his feet like a guy 50 pounds lighter, he already rebounds at an elite rate, he's been blocking shots and getting steals (this might be the biggest contributor to his foul rate) at unbelievable rates, he's shown nice court vision for a 20 year old center, hits his free throws, and he has huge soft hands. He also seems to have quite the swagger about him.

I've made this comparison before, but there are a lot of similarities between Marc Gasol and Nurkic. I would be surprised to see Nurkic turn into the high post threat Gasol is, but defensively the tools are there and offensively he should be strong in the post with the ability to step out and hit an elbow jumper.

Sixers aren't the worst team in the NBA, despite their best efforts. :lmao:
MIN is of course behind them in the standings. A teeny bit surprising, but probably on a lot of folks' short lists of teams with potential to finish behind PHI.

The revelation here has to be NYK. Six behind PHI on the loss side. :lmao: Six!
