NBA vs NFL, Christmas Day Showdown Edition (2 Viewers)

Christmas Day is shaping to be a huge TV ratings showdown between the NBA and the NFL.

Insert Roger Goodell FeedMe.gif here, but I'll be in the minority tuning in for the Spurs @ OKC, though I might drop into the Cowboys game if there's a Sad Jerry shot to behold.

I'm certainly not watching the first 2 games if it means having to subscribe to Netflix. I might watch the game on Prime if there's absolutely nothing else to do.
(Spoiler: there will be other things to do.)

Did not know that, and at first I assumed you were talking about the NBA showing games on Netflix. That's one heckuva a flex by Goodell.

I took a quick spin on Google and found this, in case anyone else was wondering:
Netflix paid the NFL a reported $150 million for a three-year deal, covering two Christmas Day games in 2024 and at least one game in 2025 and 2026, effectively paying around $75 million per game for the initial holiday broadcasts. This deal marked Netflix's major entry into live NFL broadcasting, aiming to boost subscribers and advertising revenue.
