Thats what happens when you play a real team
Ugh here come the doosh bags. That was a really good team that lost to another really good team.
wait one second. Youve been touting kentucky sucks for weeks now.
Yup. They haven't been this good all year. I'm not some mouth breather who can't see a team getting better.
I asked you specifically if you'd been watching Kentucky of late and you poo poo'd them taking Florida to down to one point. I gave you an out and you made it very clear that you couldn't see a team getting better.

Tourney has been great so far - albeit today has been so-so. If MSU holds on and Nova beats UCONN then we are a miss from Ennis away from all chalk in the S16 which should make for some great matchups next weekend assuming tomorrow is similar.
still gotta laugh at this post. Talk about premature ejaculation
Hmm - ok. I still see a lot of great matchups. I know UCONN and UK are mid-major types so maybe you are right.
my point was you were looking forward to the all chalk sweet 16 yet there were still a ton of games left. Since then every game has gone to the underdog. Just found it funny
I guess that's true. I look at it like we have a ton of power conference teams plus Dayton (unless I'm forgetting someone). I still count Uconn and UL as power conf teams.
oh dont get me wrong. Im still expecting great games

wow great job admitting theyre good after the fact
Great job waiting until the game was over to come in here and talk ####.
check the wich state thread. I said they havent played anyone this yr. I wasnt talking #### either. Was rooting for wsu

The crappy thing about that last shot from Van Vleet was that you could tell it was off as soon as it left his hands, so you didn't even get that second of hanging on edge while the ball was in the air.

ETA: A bank shot for the win would have been incredible.

They're showing the crying kid again and Barkley says he could be the North Dakota State Coach one day. :lmao:

This weeks ticket to the Indianapolis Regional is going to be hot. Kentucky-Louisville-Michigan all within a short drive.

WSU vs Ky was a great game. Both teams played very good basketball. Perhaps Ky's freshman are maturing a little bit, but either way, WSU is a great great basketball team.

I just don't like Kentucky & Calipari - Recruiting a ton of one and dones... It's just bad for the sport and that's basically what Cal stands for.

:lmao: I don't give two ####s about any of your "outs".

Well alrighty then. Thanks for that.Just for my own edification - who should be recruiting the one-and-dones?
Players should have to stay for two years. Much better for the game.

That rule would prob benefit UK anyways... I just dislike the one and done rule and since they all wind up at UK, I guess my dislike lands on them.

I think its tough to blame Cal/Uk for the one-and-dones. He exploits the rule - with mixed results, but he did not make the rule.

I think the NBA and the players association were being short-sighted in not putting in an age requirement in their last CBA. College basketball is a great place to build marketing awareness for these guys - without any investment from the NBA, and with two years to mature, NBA teams would probably make better draft decisions, and have more guys who are ready to play right away.

FYI, Duke, North Carolina, and Kansas also recruit one and done players. You singling out Ky is just wrong.

Hell, Ky would be even better if it was two and done. Can you imagine Ky with Anthony Davis, Kidd Gilchrist, and that group for two years? ;)

That's life in the NCAA now. His job is to win, and stay within the rules doing it. That's all. I know his past is checkered but he's not known as being a bad guy around Kentucky. He's very well liked and does a lot in the community. I don't see how you can fault Cal for playing the game the way the NCAA has set it up. They're the ones to blame. His job is to win. Pitino has never been a well liked guy. He's always been known as a ####. If anyone should be disliked, it's him.

damn, my buddy has a ticket broker friend that he can get tickets from for next week's games in Indy. Never thought I'd be a little bummed about going to Hawaii this week...

I hate the NCAA organization, but you can't blame them for one-and-done rule. That's all on the NBA.

I don't care about the one and done thing, but for those who do those other teams aren't really even comparable to Kentucky, who literally turns over almost their entire starting rotation every year.

How much?
not sure...he said face value but it would depend on the section.

funny thing is they had tickets to the games on f'in Groupon this week. Of course they were crappy seats in the 600 sections, but at 25% off, a man could have made some good money reselling.

I wanted UofL to face anyone but UK. If UofL has to lose I didn't want it to be to these hillbilly sister ####ers. I will never hear the end of it
