Dude, this team won 13 games in conference and played a heck of a game today. This loss is going to really hurt, but I don't think you can call it a POS garbage squad. They choked down the stretch.

This squad wasn't very good and the ACC was clearly weak, as we've learned this weekend. Happy to see McDonald gone & really hoping Paige stays.

If Paige and McAdoo are back, they have some solid building blocks...

Like Meeks potential a lot too.

That is why you don't call a timeout under 3 seconds when the ball is in play. You just have to hope your players make a play. Letting the defense set up to defend a play for 3 seconds or less is dumb.

That is why you don't call a timeout under 3 seconds when the ball is in play. You just have to hope your players make a play. Letting the defense set up to defend a play for 3 seconds or less is dumb.

He did like 3 free brackets and I did 1. If he lost money this week he has to be the sneakiest person alive we have been at traveling all around Michigan since Thursday morning visiting family and just got home about 3 hours ago. He hasn't been on his phone or a computer all weekend.

The way he has been cheering while watching the games this weekend though I would imagine he won a lot if he did bet. Michigan won, Michigan State won, Iowa State won, Duke lost.

I think Meeks could be a beast.

If this Jackson kid is legit, that would be huge. I like the Tokoto kid, but a wing that's athletic and nothing else really isn't going to get it done (and it sounds like Pinson is a better Tokoto).

Jackson's going to have to be a good scorer/shooter in a hurry.

 
I do appreciate CBS showing blown up bloody people on the 60 minutes promos. Great for kids that might be running around and a tually enjoy basketball.

Yeah, problem is that someone gets screwed in both options.

Either you rob UNC of a 3/4 court shot by making a player think he had more time than he did or you rob ISU by giving UNC an inbounds play from down near the basket when there is no way they'd be able to dribble down there and call a timeout in less than 1.6 seconds.

Maybe the fairest thing would have been to just go back under the ISU basket with 1.6 seconds left, but even that lets the teams set up differently.

I was guessing the refs were going to find someone on UNC signaling for a timeout after Kane's layup and give them the ball under the ISU basket and put 1.6 back on the clock. Didn't think the refs would do a video review and declare the game over.

Watched it at my in-laws for party for FIL and wife. Stood in the back of the room like a maniac the entire 2nd half, would've been bad news if they lost. Watching your team lose amongst other people who really care is OK because you're in it together, watching it when people are kind of watching is torture.

MIL walked in with like 1:30 to go when they're salting it away at the line and says "Oh, UCONN's on?" :lmao:

UNC or Niang-less ISU, there are much worse draws. :hifive:

? No, I am mad that they have to play UK and for whatever reason it just seems UK has UofL's number lately. I just hope UofL can keep the game close. Oh, and that UK players have some sort of diarrhea that keeps them from playing.

Right. I understand it isn't really fair to ISU to go back and give UNC the ball at the end line with 1.6 left, but it's quite a bit less fair to show a clock that's about a second off to the players and coaches. Anyway, should have played better defense on that last play.
