I work at a hospital. Gotta wake up at 530am to be there by 7am. So yeah, I cant work from home, and half days dont happen in my profession. I need to schedule my time off at least a month or so in advance. Id rather sleep at that time of night than waste a day off on Zona, same as last sunday's late game for UCLA which is what I did. go to sleep.

I like you Rud, but sort of funny you of all people trying to call me out on not staying up late and getting out of work. Im sure you do more than write articles on FF, prognosticate and project stats for the future season, and moderate the forum, but telling people to blow off work is easy when you do what you do. Most people cant dictate their work hours.

you're the one who told the West Coast guy to take off work on game day so he doesn't have to watch them when they start during his normal work hours?

it's a basketball game with Arizona in it. If it's that important to you, you'll find a way to watch it. I'm pretty sure of this.

Because its your job. Be more prudent and get that day off or call out beforehand.
If watching Arizona play in the tournament is super important to you, maybe it's time to consider a career change, or at least a move to the Pacific time zone?

Exactly, so if people on the west coast cared enough, they should call off. Not make most of the country have to watch this game past midnight,

It doesnt, thats why I said I'll be sleeping probably by halftime of that game. I dont see how CBS is pulling in great ratings that late either, but thats another question.

the games are in Anaheim.

1st one tips off at 4:47pm local time.

tough to sell tickets if they are starting those games at noon.

personally, I'd rather have the games spread out rather than trying to cram them all in during prime time. I like the late games. better for betting on.

Im betting that most of those people in the arena for Wisky-Baylor tipoff at 447pm WST didnt go to work today.

:lmao:
So were in agreement that late games are a PITA? Great.
Since you're a little slow, I am laughing because you are a ######## hypocrite.
I made that post based on Rud. Im pretty sure he has an easy time working on his schedule. Write FF info, mod the forum and ban people, rewind.

No offense but screw you. Us west coasters already have to wake up at 10 am every Sunday during football season. Plus there's never any other live event besides the oscars that's actually live out here.

Boo freakin hoo you might have to get the final score of a game or two in the morning.

Is Dayton going to blow this game out?
I suppose it's possible that they could shoot 60% the entire game, but I wouldn't bet the mortgage on it. Stanford just needs to keep it within single digits heading to the locker room.

Saw the CBS graphic that this is the 5th straight year where 3 double-digit seeds are in the Sweet 16. Holy ####! That's patently insane when you think about it.

I've learned to live with early nfl games and stuff because I realize it's a big country. I'm fine with it. Then to hear someone complain about having a couple games go late just reeks of typical east coast elitism.

How long does Baylor stay in the zone?
They've been almost exclusively a zone team since they hired Scott Drew. They have a few wrinkles and movements to switch up the look, but they don't play much man.
I was under the impression they played quite a bit of man earlier in the season and have played zone exclusively in the past month or so (as I typed this, Marv said essentially the same thing)

I haven't seen much Baylor at all this year.

10 AM isn't early. It's perfectly acceptable to, say, mow your lawn at 10 AM. You need to stop being such a lazy-bones and get your ### out of bed at a reasonable hour instead of lolly-gagging around in bed for half the day.

If either team, Wisconsin or Baylor starts hitting their open shots, this game could get high scoring. Every look is either open or at the rim it seems.

I don't think that first half was how Baylor...

wow, 40 year old deaf chick hears for the first time

i haven't cried in some time but it's been water works over here for the last few minutes
Seems like they should've set up something more awesome for her to hear than this bird droning on and on about the days of the week.

"Tumbling Dice" or something, I dunno.

There's some guy on Reddit who got a similar procedure, and he's been chronicling hearing music for the first time. Pretty awesome, I'll dig itup.

Mountain time zone is the best. Games don't start to early and don't last late into the night. Sunday NFL starts at 11 and done by 5-5:30
