yeah, i haven't looked at the lines yet, I was going by seeding.American U.(15) vs Wisconsin(2) - Badgers have the potential to lose to any team
Wofford(15) vs Michigan(2) - Probably not but michigan could put up a clunker
These would be huge upsets, games like Harvard winning wouldn't really be an upset at all, they are only a 3 point dog.
Have these, plus Arizona State (10) over Texas (7) and all 9s except Kentucky. Brackets feel chalky still.Harvard(12) over Cincinnati(5)
Providence(11) over North Carolina(6)
North Dakota St.(12) over Oklahoma(5)
Iowa(11) or Tennessee(11) over UMass(6)
I agree with the "chalky" assessment, after the handful of round 2 "upsets" I see 1-4 seeds doing very well the rest of the way.Have these, plus Arizona State (10) over Texas (7) and all 9s except Kentucky. Brackets feel chalky still.Harvard(12) over Cincinnati(5)

I think they have A chance vs FloridaPitt might have the best chance of a lower seed getting past their first game.
Manhattan turns it over a ton and they're playing Louisville. I probably wouldn't hang my hat on this one.Manhattan.
Rules.Manhattan turns it over a ton and they're playing Louisville. I probably wouldn't hang my hat on this one.Manhattan.
But in my bracket pool a chick joined and picked Manhattan to the elite 8 because "they probably have a lot of good basketball players in New York" so that's something.
I think Stephen F. Austin is the best upset pick, but if you're going deeper and longer I like Mercer. They shoot a bunch of threes so if they're hot you have that going for you, they have a couple of guys who should be able to penetrate against Duke's soft defense, and they defend the three pretty well.Rules.Manhattan turns it over a ton and they're playing Louisville. I was actually being facetious about Manhattan, but if I had to pick a 14-16 I'd probably go with Mercer, just on the off-chance that Mercer gets hot from 3 and Duke checks out early. Kansas looks vulnerable too obviously, but Mercer >> E. Kentucky.
Pitt is a 6.5 point favorite, so it will be an upset if they lose.Pitt might have the best chance of a lower seed getting past their first game.
No wonder they call you Ballstein.I had A vision...Wichita state loses to Cal Poly.
Poorly disguised UM slappy post.I'm thinking Dayton not only takes out Ohio but also, then, Syracuse and NM.
I have Iowa State charging into the final four.![]()
I don't see it, but anything's possible. For the Buffett Billion, Tulsa is taking out UCLA. You have to have either a #3 or #4 seed losing in round 1. I looked it up. Every year there is one of those.
I was just thinking, WSU is looking ahead to the other teams in their bracket. The WSU S.O.S. is questionable. It's an unlikely scenerio but the seeds are there.I had A vision...Wichita state loses to Cal Poly.
True, but it was still worth 9 points in my pool.Pitt is a 6.5 point favorite, so it will be an upset if they lose.Pitt might have the best chance of a lower seed getting past their first game.
Actually, I don't see my Wolverines going too far ...not enough inside game. Ever hopeful, though ...Poorly disguised UM slappy post.I'm thinking Dayton not only takes out Ohio but also, then, Syracuse and NM.

"Upset" meaning lower seed wins. Then I like:
Dayton(11) over Ohio St.(6)
Harvard(12) over Cincinnati(5)
Providence(11) over North Carolina(6)
North Dakota St.(12) over Oklahoma(5)
N.C.State(12) or Xavier(12) over St. Louis(5)
Iowa(11) or Tennessee(11) over UMass(6)

Nicely done so far.....3 for 4 and the lose was in OT.jon_mx said:"Upset" meaning lower seed wins. Then I like:

looks at me tooWho ya got so far...
12-SF Austin over 5-VCU
12-harvard over 5-CINN
I had SFA and N Dakota State but not Harvard. 25-4 right now. Best bracket I've filled out in my life and it's not close.looks at me tooWho ya got so far...

I said deeper, longer, and penetrate in this post.
i had pitt as a possible F4 team, then i saw their draw.I got mercer, Baylor, and UConn moving on. 27-4 right now and it feels good.
I'm sticking with Florida but as somebody who watches or listens to every Pitt game, tomorrow is gonna be close till the end IMO. Pitt is really clicking, look for Newkirk to be a big factor.
nice job, 23-8 here, didn't do well on my 50-50 games. Figured the Uconn St Joes winner upsets Nova, but had to pick one to beat the other. My pick choked. Same story on VCU Austin. New Mexico in the elite eight was a big ball drop though.I got mercer, Baylor, and UConn moving on. 27-4 right now and it feels good.
