NE Tight ends to rule the roost against Jets.. (1 Viewer)

In typical BB fashion he will undoubtedly try to veer away from the Jets strength which means utilizing Hernandez and Gronkowski as well as Woodhead out of the backfield.

Thoughts on this and which TE may benefit- I read somewhere that Gronk plays mostly against zone coverage schemes but cannot find that link....

Gresham left a great blueprint for TE domination
Was your answer supposed to be sarcastic :goodposting: When has Cincinnati EVER featured the TE and Carson Palmer obviously played right into the Jets hands even throwing into triple coverage to TO in the endzone on 1 interception. Carson Palmer is no Tom Brady and Marvin Lewis is no BB....

Hernandez caught 6 balls for 101 yards in week 2 against the Jets without Revis.

2 catches in the last three weeks is a concern.

I'm pretty sure at some point BB will feature Hernandez again in a game depending on matchups, this seems like a logical bet for a game where it could happen.

Risky / scary from a FF perspective to start Hernandez after the last few weeks though.

Tough call for FF.

It's crunch time and as much potential as Hernandez has, I don't think I can plug him in anymore.

Think I'm dropping him for Ben Watson this week actually... at least his floor is 4-5 pts, not 0-2.

This COULD be a great spot for Hernandez.

A Belicheck zig when the Jets think he'll zag. Hernandez has played like 20% of the snaps lately so integrating him big time into the game plan would be a shock to the Jets.

That said, Bill may have a if it aint broke don't fix it mentality. Statistically, the Jets aren't stopping people through the air despite locking down their #1 WR. After ripping Pitt's D, NE may just stick to what works.

I hate playing "Predict the big game" game with my WR3, and I sure don't want to do it with my TE1.

I predict ulcers for dynasty Hernandez owners.
