We have 2 open teams available in a 12 team, keep 3 league run on MFL.

Link to league rosters, the open teams are Idaho Steelheads and Roys Boys: https://www50.myfantasyleague.com/2020/options?L=32899&O=07

Each team can keep up to 3 players. Keepers work as follows - To keep 1 player, you must give up your 1st round draft pick. To keep 2 players, you give up 1st and 2nd round picks. To keep 3 players, you give up 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round picks.

Scoring for the league is 4 pts. per passing TD, 6 pts. per rushing/receiving TD, 1 pt. per 25 passing yards, 1 pt. per 10 rushing/receiving yards, 3 bonus pts. for all TDs over 59 yards, 0.5 pts. per RB reception, 1 pt. per WR reception, and 1.5 pts. per TE reception.

Starting lineup is 1 QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 1 flex (QB/RB/WR/TE), 1 K, 1 D/ST.

Cost of the league is $4.50 to cover the fee for MFL.

Draft will be held some time in August.

Message me or post here if interested.

  • What’s the draft order.
Good question, here it is:

1. Galeos
2. Atswhatimtalknbout
3. Desert Squids
4. Roy's Boys
5. Narwhal Attack
6. Boz's Bruisers
7. Prof. Chaos
8. Idaho Steelheads
9. Lost Wyo
10. Crazytrain
11. PanPitters
12. Roar Lions

Since we allow up to 3 players to be kept, we use the same draft order for the first 4 rounds and then start a serpentine draft after that.

I also took a look to see which players on the rosters for Roys Boys and Idaho Steelheads are not eligible to be kept. Everyone on Roys Boys can be kept. For the Steelheads, Zeke can't be kept and Kamara can only be kept for this season before entering the draft again. The rest of the players on the Steelheads can be kept. Here is the rule for keeping players:

A veteran player may only be protected for a maximum of two (2) consecutive drafts and then must re-enter the draft process (that is, a player drafted in year 1 may be protected from the draft process in years 2 and 3, but will then become a free agent, available for the draft for year 4). Players who are drafted as rookies may be protected for a maximum of three (3) consecutive drafts and then must re-enter the draft process (a rookie drafted in year 1 may be protected from the draft process in years 2, 3 and 4, but will then become a free agent, available for the draft for year 5). A player who is traded carries his existing contract and protection status to his new team. Thus, a player who is traded the year he is drafted may be protected by his new team a maximum of two (2) times if the player is a veteran or a maximum of three (3) times if the player is a rookie.  Each protected player on a team's roster will count as a draft choice in that year's draft. If a team elects not to protect any players, it will draft in its normal position in the first round. A team which protects one (1) player will forfeit its first round draft pick and will select in its normal position in the second round. This pattern will be followed for all protected players, with a team which protects three (3) players joining the draft in the fourth round. A team may not draft a player in the first three rounds of the draft who it had the option of naming as a protected player and failed to name. Players may be traded for other players and/or for draft choices in the next scheduled draft. Draft choices for years beyond the next scheduled draft may not be traded. Any team trading a draft choice must designate the ROUND of the choice being traded. If a team designates that it is trading a draft choice in any of the first three rounds, it MUST make that choice available in the draft by limiting its protected players to the number which will allow it to choose in that round. For example, a team which trades a Third Round draft choice may only protect two (2) players, so that the team which acquired the draft choice can select in the Third Round. The trade of a Fourth Round or later choice will not affect a team's right to protect players.

What happens if you don’t keep anyone.  When do you draft.  What if I didn’t keep anyone, and then drafted one of these players.  Would I be able to keep them for 3 more years.

Im interested in one of the two teams.

If you don't keep anyone you start drafting in your spot in the 1st round. However, during the first 3 rounds you can't draft a player you could have kept. For example, if you took over the Roys Boys team and didn't keep any of the players you wouldn't be able to draft Barkley (or any other player on the team since all are eligible to be kept) during the first 3 rounds. However, if you did draft one of the players on that team in the 4th round you would be able to keep that player for 2 more years after the 2020 season. On the other hand, if you took over the Steelheads team you would be able to draft Zeke in the 1st round since he isn't eligible to be kept any more. Then you would be able to keep him twice after the 2020 season.

Sent you a private message with my email address in it. Please let me know if you are still interested and if so which team you would like to claim.

I’m interested in Roy’s Boys.
OK, sounds good. Check your private messages here and then send me an email so I can add you to the email list for the league and send you an invite to join the league on MFL. Thanks.

Anyone interested in taking over the Steelheads?
