PPR league 1pt/10y rush/rec, 6pts TD
Need to start 2 RB out of the following: Burkhead, Ayaji, Peyton Barber, Mixon (out), Perine, Jamaal Williams
My leans: Burkhead & Ayaji
Thoughts on each:
Burkhead - Pros: TD vulture on goal line, nice matchup against weakened Steelers LB corps. PPR makes him an attractive option. Cons: Dion Lewis & James White could steal carries/receptions
Ayaji - Pros: Great matchup against Giants, loss of Wentz may lead to more carries. Cons: Could lose carries to LeGarrette Blount
Barber - Pros: Emerging as the lead back at the Bucs with Martin struggling. Cons: Martin still listed as starter. Bucs offense is struggling. Winston's return may lead to more passing than rushing
Perine - Pros: Clear lead back as being the only fit RB left. Cons: Has not done much since back to back 100 yard games. Washington injuries could have them down early, leading to more passing
Williams - Pros: Clear workhorse back, excellent for PPR. Rodgers back could open up holes for him. Cons: Tough matchup on the road against stingy Panthers defense.
FREE AGENT OPTIONS: Kerwynn Williams, Frank Gore, Giovani Bernard
Need to start 1 WR from the following: Stefon Diggs, Robby Anderson, Marquise Lee
My lean: Stefon Diggs
Thoughts on each:
Diggs - Pros: Has been a must start in most weeks. Still gets a lot of targets. Cons: Losing receptions to Thielien & Rudolph. Has not scored a lot of TDs
Anderson - Pros: Standout #1 WR, regular scorer throughout the season. Cons: Bryce Petty is not Josh McCown,
Marquise Lee - Pros: Bortles on a hot run. Great matchup. Cons: Bortles could implode at any moment. Dede Westbrook emerging. Niggling injuries
FREE AGENT OPTIONS: Agholor, Kupp, Sanu, Goodwin, Westbrook
Would very much like opinions. Will answer yours.
