Is it possible that someone here knows where I can find a source for this.
With the house I bought I inherited one of those cantilever patio umbrellas - one of the nicer ones. I used the stinking thing like 3 times and finally it no longer would "catch" and crank open. I took the handle complex apart and there is really just some cheap plastic parts that ratchet the crank - and the handle would spin this plastic that is shaped like a hex nut. The edges of the plastic that form the hex are worn off and is the cause of it no longer catching the inside ratchet that spins the rope.
I've done several search - patio umbrella hand crank replacement - but nothing encouraging comes up for just that part.
