I'm the commish in a 10 team PPR, IDP league. We have an annual predraft to go over rules, league changes, etc. Part of the predraft is to have a fun, random way to get our draft spots. In the past, we've had mini boat races, throwing darts at cards, football toss, etc
Right now I'm thinking about having an auction where the highest bidder gets the spot. However, some managers in the league could make more then others so it wouldn't be fair on a money factor, so it was suggested to cap each pick at $25, with a 30 second clock to bid. The money would go into catering something for our draft or some sort of weekly prizes.
If I cap it at $25 and multiple guys want the same spot and bid $25, I'm trying to think of a way to then determine who gets that spot.
I'm looking for any ideas at this point.
