I am starting a new fantasy football league and since I always seem to get left out of others started by online forum posters I will be the ESPN League Manager. If you are interested in joining then send me your email address, then I will send you an invite. It is winner take all prize money. If you have ever heard of Pregame.com it is a great site and if you join there I will give you $150 free Pregame bulk dollars there if you win. Winner take all and I already talked to Co-owner of Pregame Johnny Detroit and he agreed to transfer the funds from my account to yours if you win. The money is already sitting in my account and unless I win, it won't stay there. There is no cost or obligation to you. Just tell me your pregame screenname if you want the money. Or just play for fun, but let me know either way. I think we still have like 7 openings left. Here are the rules:
-Snake re-draft league
-12 team league
-Draft will be Sunday, September 2, 2012 at 5:00 PM ET
-Standard settings except:
-no limit on the number of players you can have at one position ON YOUR BENCH. If you want all RB on your bench, go for it, but you can only start 2+flex.
-draft pick trades allowed
-flex position includes TE so you can utilize two stud TEs if you got em
-9 bench players instead of 7 to reward players who know more about less well known guys
-no defensive yards allowed points (just points allowed)
-auction style free agency
-ends by week 15 so as to avoid teams not playing starters in week 16 and17 who have playoff spot locked up
-4 teams make playoffs 2 weeks for each round so fantasy regular season ends by week 11.
-home field counts for 4 points in regular season and 8 in post season to make it more realistic
-trade deadline is after week 6 (halfway between regular fantasy season)
-Obviously, no collusion, cheating or other funny business will be allowed. I will be the LM so I can change points, standings or whatever if necessary although I do not intend to if you play fair
-I prefer people who are actually good at fantasy football, are willing to trade and always pay attention to their team even if they are out of the playoff picture. Also, make sure you can make the draft. Any Questions.
