heck after reading what I posted, i wasn't very clear...
I got two guys on bye weeks so i need a one week filler, which we can do without dropping anyone...
There are some good matchups with lower tier WR but there are also a few higher tier WR talent wise but the teams they are playing against are tough...
And I was curious to get a consensus on what people do in such a situation...

this is a good question, and I thank you for keeping this general, and not turning into a WDIS question.IMO, when considering match-ups, you gotta think about the game in general - for a upper tier WR, will he be going up against Champ Bailey or another premeir cover corner? how is that team's running game - if they can't run, they have to pass, right? how good is the opposing offense - if your target player is on a team who is likely to loose, they will have to throw more.Basically, my short answer is "it depends".
However, I would tend to say go with the better talent against a tough D if the following is true ... The team with the tough D will most likely win big. A lot of FF points can be had in blowouts and WRs/QBs are typically the beneficiaries. Examples last week alone:
Colston vs Bal - 163 yd, 2 TD
Horn vs Bal - 126 yd, 1 TD
Curtis vs. SD - 79 yd, 1 TD
Bruce vs. SD - 105 yd
Bryant vs. Chicago - 58 yd , 1 TD
Almost all of the production from these guys was when the game was basically over.
