Hello all,
I am looking to join a fun and competitive Keeper or Dynasty league right now, so that I can play out the rest of the season and make moves to tailor my roster as to how I see fit in preparation of next year (keepers). If the team has a legitimate chance of being competitive in the playoffs (or there is a way I could make some cash), than I might be willing to pay some of this year's original cost.
I am an avid NFL football fan, and Fantasy Football enthusiast. Coupled with that; I am a Web developer and Internet marketing specialist. I build Web applications (such as Fantasy league software), and then I use techniques I have developed over the last 12 years to search engine optimize them (SEO).
Right now I am playing in only 1 league, which is a 14 player Standard Yahoo! league. We start 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1K, 1DEF and no FLEX. I am sort of bored of how simple the league is, especially since there are no hyper bonus incentives or a flex.
My team (Rough Ridas) is 10-1 (after today), and has scored the most points in the entire league. I would consider myself the a savvy owner and really want to join a league with more "seasoned vets", and other savvy owners. I am competetive, but not in a way where it gets irritating.
I would love to invite you to take a look at my team through this public link Yahoo! gives: http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/f1...ak=Va1dBdo0OCYO
If you are wondering about my team I can tell you this: I had a horrible draft, and listened to my friend too much about CJ Spiller. I picked like this:
#14: Tom Brady
#15: Reggie Wayne
#42: Arian Foster
#43 C.J. Spiller
I was planning on taking Jamal Charles with Spiller, but I listened to my friend too much about Spiller. So I made a move mid season and traded the lawfirm BJGE at his high (streaked like 6 games straight with TDs), and Mike Williams (Sea), because I did not want to part with Wayne or Bess at the time.... for Ray Rice.
I finally got my other stud RB that I wanted the entire year, and all it cost me where a couple well picked FA/WW guys. My point is I consider myself a savy owner, I love making trades, and I WILL NOT object or VETO any trade unless it is obvious collusion between 2 players. I follow Matthew Berry's "Fantasy 10 Commandments"
If you want a nice guy that loves to compete, but is laid back and always willing to help others even if I face them down the line.... then I might just be your guy.
Thank you for your consideration,
Adam Paoli
