Need some ideas for week 17 "Pro Bowl".... (1 Viewer)

Thanks to Pierre Thomas carrying the team that won the championship in week 17, I think I have finally convinced everyone that week 17 Super Bowl's are TERRIBLE...BUT,...the league wants to play FF all 17 weeks. I'd like to do some type of "Pro Bowl" that all teams can participate in during week 17 next year.

What do you guys do for week 17?? details please!!

interesting, but I still love week 17 super bowls. I averaged 131 for the season and scored 131 in week 17. Its called managing your team......LOL

completely disagree. i think putting together a great FF team and managing well for 16 weeks shouldn't be undone by some stiff owner picking up brandon jackson, quinn gray and matt jones in week 17 and winning it all. all FF leagues should end in week 16 by federal law, punishable by deportation and/or execution by firing squad.

We do 2 things to keep the action going throughout the entire year. A Week 17 Pro Bowl, in which each owner submits his own "dream" roster, same scoring and starting requirements as the regular season. It's a $20 entry fee, 12 teams. $200 goes to the winner, the remaining $40 is put towards food/drinks for our actual NFL Super Bowl party.

Then we do the playoff contest, which is pretty similiar to what FBG does. Up to 2 players from each playoff team, cumulative scoring, etc.

I didnt pick up a single player the last 5 or 6 weeks of the season. Everyone knows week 17 is coming, draft accordingly. No insult intended, but every time I hear someone whine about week 17 backups playing, I just want to scream. These are the owners that all they can do is draft and play studs and have no actual managerial skills. Thats also why I like the larger lineups, as it neutralizes the LT effect. Could also be that I play in dynasty, and very few owners are going to drop a long term player for a 1 week wonder.Can your site handle letting a player be one more than 1 roster? If so, let everyone pick who they want.
