Need your thoughts on the weekly RB thread (1 Viewer)

Would it be better to post the weekly RB thread in the Coach's Forum?

Here's my thinking, if I post it in the Coach's forum, then people can just be open about WDIS...doesn't mean that all posts need to go that way. And I am leery of people getting upset if no one responds to them but at the same time if it's over in the Coach's fourm it won't be an issue if a member wants to ask for specific advice.

Some other notes...this week I started to do a break down of drives in the games where we have a 2 back system like Oakland, New York Jets, Carolina, and those are far more detailed than say Cinci where Benson is getting the entire load basically. I think you'll really enjoy that and it will disect and go a little further than just reading the box score and posting stats in a vacuum.

Oh btw, I want to thank the SP as we broke a record last week with over 7,500 hits/views, you guys are awesome. Look for this week's thread later tonight or early tomorrow.

I cannot believe I'm posting this, but:

How about posting them in both?

In the SP version, put a link to the AC version, and direct all WDIS questions there (maybe in boldprint).

The discussion about the analysis itself can stay here in the SP version.

Please keep posting here. I don't always agree with your predictions, but I appreciate your efforts and love the ensuing discussion that always will follow. Keep it up!

I agree with this to some degree. I think you definitely need to keep it here in the SP. If you want to go to the hassle of copy/pasting it into the AC forum, I think it would be helpful, but if you didn't want to go through the hassle of doing that, I wouldn't blame you a bit.

Listen to identikit. He knows things.

I like it here as I know where to look for it. Besides there is always alot of great info listed here qualifying it for the SP. Haven't you been doing this here for years! People that want this moved just are mad because they have had inappropriate posts moved. Plus it would be different if you were asking WDIS every week with your weekly thread you are giving you educated and informed advice as to how players will preform. Keep up the great work!!

MOP,

I voted yes and here is why.

This would place some valuable WDIS information at the fingertips of those looking for it every week. In placing the info there you would create a magnet for them to look for this information in the prescribed forum.

In other words, it may keep the WDIS posts out of the shark pool and increase the on topic posts in each respective forum.

Good idea

Keep it in the SP, for tradition's sake if nothing else.

Besides it's one of the very few dependably worthwhile threads in the SP.

I think you might consider forgoing talking about the Chargers RB situation this week since there are already about 6438 useless threads about that.

Oh yeah, give me one guaranteed lock and one guaranteed suck player this time - CHOP CHOP!

Thanks Groovus...I was going to go to the Canes game tonight but I will be finishing up the thread instead and watching the Canes try and beat Ga Tech for the first time in about 5 years.

:lmao: Although it might not hurt to just post it in the ACF and let the guys who do the WDIS do their thing in there too. My preference is it stay in the SP though. It's one of the thread I look forward to on a weekly basis.

I like this thread in the SP. There is valuable information for everyone and the WDIS questions are usually worded and responded to in a manner that helps a larger sample than most. While the WDIS questions pop up in there, I think that keeps them out of the SP as individual threads to an extent.

Me too. If I have to wade though a few WDIS questions, whatever. But I don't go to the AC forum, it never occurs to me. I believe in the maxim that no one cares about my/your fantasy team. The people that respond in there, they are doing God's work, but I don't go there.

Prefer here. The thread is a great read i look forward to each week (even more so than FBG's "Rushing Matchups") and i'd like to keep it that way. Keep up the great work, preferably this afternoon? hehe.
