Why have their been so many Republican debates as opposed to Democratic? Lots of candidates? They are more silly/entertaining to watch and good for ratings? I'm really curious about this.

Lastly, don't you think the moderators of these R debates have gotten a bit too out of line this year with injecting some obvious personal bias or being condescending/insulting...especially to Trump? Not that he doesn't deserve it, but I'm so used to stone faced, impartial moderators for these and the behavior has really jumped the shark.
