I'm trying to rationalize through the scenario where your opponent has at least two players from the same team, and that team's kicker is available on the waiver wire. First thought says this is a way to neutralize his points, since everytime this team scores, you will be scoring also...so essentially a 6 pt TD turns into a 5 pt TD. In addition, a stall in the red zone makes you even happier, as you will be getting 3 pts out of it.
However, if this team struggles putting up any points, which would normally be good for you, it then turns bad in the sense that your kicker has a bad day...but it seems that would still be a WIN for you.
Any thoughts?
