New 2008 mock (1 Viewer)

I understand that these things are totally subjective. And that it's very, very early yet to be doing any serious mocks, buuuuutttt........

If the Steelers selected a wideout in round one, with the shape that their offensive line is in, with guys like Otah and the kid from BC/et al. still on the board they would have to be short a chromosome or three.

The Steelers' first whole day could be spent on the offensive line and I don't think that would be completely wasting picks.

Looks like a pretty good mock to me. They seem to have a solid grasp of the value of the RBs in the draft.

Yeah, they have a few teams on there taking WR's that shouldnt be.

--I like the QB order.

--While KC does need a Left Tackle, Baker seems more like a ZBS Tackle. I think there are better alternatives in Chris Williams and Jeff Otah.

--Ikegwuonu and Groves in round 2 is criminal. Titus Brown as well

--Jordy Nelson <3

I thought that the NYG needed a LB - what a steal if they get Adibi in Round 2.

Ray Rice late in round two to Dallas? Steal....

Pick 72... "Sean Considine is one of the worst starting strong safeties in the NFL." I like this guy (The mocker, not Considine).

Chris Long, Virginia

Height: 6-4. Weight: 284.

40 Time: 4.78.

Projected Round: Top 5 Pick.

Chris Long, who can play end in the 4-3 and possibly nose guard in the 3-4, had 57 tackles and five sacks in 2006. Son of former NFL star and current FOX analyst Howie Long.

Really  Does that make sense?

I'd think it was the other way around... Then when he has the Jets picking Long he says at DE.....

No, it does not. He's big enough to be a 3-4 DE though, so maybe that's what they meant. I really hope the Pats take McFadden because the last thing I want to see is a Pats DL of Warren, Wilfork and Long.
